If you choose the first option, you can play as many games as you like, in whatever order you like; however, you cannot play any game for longer than 50 hours total. Once you reach the 50 hour mark, you are immediately kicked off the game and you will never be able to play it again for the rest of your life. The 50 hours includes both single and multiplayer modes of a game. Remasters/remakes count as separate games (as long as you cannot import old saves), but straight ports and multiplatform releases count as the same game.

If you choose the second option, once you start playing a game you are not allowed to play any other game until you complete the game you are playing to 100% completion (the exact definition of which varies from game to game, but generally includes completing the main story and any sidequests, acquiring all trophies, seeing all endings, etc.). For games that do not have a clear 100% status (e.g. Tetris), use your best guess. If you have just 100% completed a game, you are free to go back and play a game you have previously 100%'d, but if you start a new save file on that game, you must 100% complete it again before you are allowed to move on to a different game.

I guess I would have to say 100%. I spend way more than 50 hours on most games. So, I don't think I could do that... Though, both choices do suck. Which makes for a good would you rather... With the 100%, you could still play a lot of games if you pick games that weren't to hard to 100%. And with the 50 hour limit, you could always pick short games. Especially the ones with no replay value, if possible...

100% for some games is really, really hard, but then breaking 50 hours in many games is quite easy. I guess the 50 hour thing, since I'd just end up getting burned out trying to 100% everything and never play a game again, but it'd really suck.

If you create games, you pretty much have to play them for hundreds of hours to get everything to work the way you want it to, so kinda' have to go with the second option.

If I had to 100% every game I play I would definitely quit gaming, so I'd choose the first option.

Getting 100% in a game is almost always extremely tedious.

100% completion... but I'd be waaay more selective with what I bought. the odd thing I would wanna spend over 50 hours on would make it worth it

You'd prpobably end up being really good at those games you 100%, though. At least, for certain ones...

There are some games that I'd probably never be (feasibly) able to 100%.... But I'd still pick that option, but just be more weary of what games I ever start.

50 hours is too short for most games. And completely removes replayability.

I play JRPGs, and the good ones can't even be completed in under 50 hours anyways, so I guess 100% it is.

I picked "have to 100% a game", but I suspect that that would end up being picking one game and playing only it for the rest of my life. I could probably pick a good one, though.

That's what I do for the most part anyway minus the trophies mostly due to online. I'll take the 100% though.

Well, you could still have fun. It just that with one option, your fun may end as soon as you run out of your 50 hours play time limit. And the other option won't let you have fun at another game until you have had all the fun you can on whatever game you're playing...
