I didn't make any honest effort to rally anyone. I tried going Asuka from Senran Kagura and Audrey from Hunie Pop, but neither got in. I also tossed in the probably one and only vote for Jumpman from the Jumpman games, but I'm likely one of the very few people here old enough to remember him.

Misty from Pokemon Red/Blue. Granted, I didn't make any attempt to run a nomination rally (maybe I'll do that next time) and only traded 9 of my nominations for Misty.

I really wanted to see another human character from the series in the contest, and one that could receive some of her strength from the anime, since a lot of people watched the Gen 1 anime if they played the original Red/Blue games. I think Misty could have gotten more strength from the anime than the games as she has very little role in the games she's been in. You only see her once in the game when having the gym battle against her, then she's irrelevant for the rest of the game.

It's also an embarrassment that we've managed to get N into a contest (and he's from Gen 5) before Misty has. Gen 1 factor will practically ensure Misty is nowhere near N's level in strength.

Almost all of my nominations were from scattered indie games or niche RPGs. Princess Remedy, Hornet from Hollow Knight, Laura from Trails of Cold Steel... I don't have a lot of interest in nominating anybody I'm sure will make it in regardless.
