Am I the only one that doesn't give an eff?

Do I believe that as a teen he binge drank at parties and maybe had questionable interactions with females? I'd say a strong yes.

Is the accuser's testimony truthful. I am more doubtful of that. Just giving the timing of it all, and the fact that she never said he was the person who did it until he was nominated.

It could very easily be a case of: he attended those type of parties, i had this experience happen to me, and I am anti-republican. Hey, why not say he's the one who did it!

You should be judging his fitness to hold office based on the fact that he's being nominated so he can be in position to bail Trump out of any charges brought against him

But making a habit of sexually assaulting women is a pretty good reason to judge someone unfit for office too, regardless of how long ago it happened. You don't just magically get to not take responsibility for your actions simply because you got away with it for a long enough time

Not really. Ever since the UVA case I've adopted the "all public accusations are fake" mentality due to the damages the innocent guys suffered thanks to people rushing to believe a false accusation and it's just been my hardline stance.

Not saying the claims seem like a total fabrication, just due to the timing and circumstances I have to keep my hardline stance.

How can Kavanaugh even defend himself here? If I understand correctly, she could not recall the exact date or location of the party. So he can't even give an alibi if he wanted to. They can't even corroborate that they were at the same party much less anything else went on.

I'll agree with this. Whether her accusation has merit is a separate issue. Given her testimony though, I just don't know if there's any external evidence that can actually corroborate it. The committee will literally have to just decide if they believe her or not.
