Fall Anime Write-ups Day 11

Karakuri Circus - the trailer looked kinda neat. I dont really know anything about this series and have never heard of it before, but it looks like it will be a fighting series so thats enough to get me to check it out.

Feel the Wind - Production I.G. is pretty good so this should at least look good. I dunno how interested I am in a show about a marathon relay race though....

Anima Yell - show about cute girls cheerleading. Not much else to say.

Tomorrow - Dakaretai Otoko, Gakuen BASARA and Senran Kagura S2

HiDive us a good deal and good people. They're picking up all the Amazon shows, movies, and stuff that Crunchy doesn't bother licensing! Cheap, too. Plenty of dubs as well, and they're gonna start doing their own dubs, too.

it's not just some random prequel, it's a legitimate part of the series

Legitimate as it may be, it's covering something that I don't really care much about. I just want more badass gambling. Not a prequel when everything wasn't gambling.

The movie has some good stuff, but it's a definite step down from the main series, yeah. I feel like the most positive reviews come from people who weren't as into the main series.

Hidive is one of the few streaming servies to even legally host dubs

If you care about them then you dont want Crunchy monopoly cuz they werent gonna do many original dubs themselves (Funimation deal)

If there was actually a monopoly Crunchy would cost a fuckin shit ton. Thank god for competitive pricing

it will be fun to see opinions on 5 (and hopefully 6) since they're the most divisive parts for now (part 8 might take that crown).

I didn't like 5 or 6 as much as 4 but I thought they were both still pretty good. Especially the second half of 6 that was some the most ridiculous stuff in the entire series.

5 not ranked because I skipped it because shit translations (I'm aware this has been corrected since then, but I'm opting for the anime instead)

Literally dropped 6 because it was boring and Jolyne was bad. Everything else ranges from "literally one of the greatest things ever" to "pretty good"

I like kira more than dio but I mean they are both all-time classic shounen villains

I like that Dio was more personal. Like his actions and interactions were way more connected to the Jojos while Kira just feels more like a random villain the group feels compelled to get rid of who otherwise paid no attention to the group or anything.

I mean part of the reason he's so good is that he JUST WANTS A QUIET LIFE
