And now I'm done How Not to Summon a Demon Lord. I also thought this was bad, but in a different way than Re'Union was. This anime desperately wanted to be like Overlord, and it didn't come anywhere close, but unlike Re'Union it at least wasn't an amalgamation of all the bad ideas from its inspiration. Rather, what good ideas Demon Lord had simply didn't appeal to me. If someone enjoys over-powered main characters and all the usual harem/fanservice tropes, I think they'd probably enjoy this. Those things just aren't usually my style so I didn't like it. There were also several dumb plot moments but those are kind of inherent to the tone of the story they were going for so, eh. I give this a 2/10, the same score as Re'Union, but this was still the far more competent anime.

From what I'm watching, Island, Dropkick on my Devil, Re'Union, and Demon Lord are finished. Harukana Receive and Chio's School Road finish tomorrow, Ragnarok and Music Girls on Saturday, Planet With and Asobi Asobase on Sunday, and on Monday Kakuriyo, Holmes of Kyoto, and Phantom in the Twilight all finish. I may have missed one.

Nah the 8 chapter thing is probably a myth too.

One time fluctuations aren't really a big deal, there are variety of factors that probably go into play, like how "hype" a series is at a certain point. Reader surveys probably affect overall trends more than specific placements.

Still you rarely see one of the upper half series go bottom 3.

To each their own. I liked her. And I think that because I thought GGO was the only watchable arc helps her.

It's not a masterwork of fiction or anything but I've been enjoying it. It has some nice fantastical elements, and I think Aoi is a solid main character. It also hits a nice middle ground for something that's mostly a food anime. The meals usually have deeper meaning to the situation or characters, they aren't just tasty things for characters to orgasm over while eating.

I'm honestly not sure what you'd think of it though. It might be worth giving it a shot. The quality never drastically changes so you should know pretty quick if it's something you'd enjoy. The anime closest to Kakuriyo that I've seen are Konohana Kitan and Hanasaku Iroha.

I somehow made it three episodes into Restaurant to Another World before making it the second anime I dropped. It was awful, the plots were all disconnected and they had no stakes or emotion. The characters had no depth and were only there to talk about how good the food was. Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles was also terrible but at least it had characters with some semblance of charm. RtAW didn't even have that.

Even at its worst, Kakuriyo is way better than that. It has characters and plot!

Too bad LtM isnt from Belgium. Hed be able to play Dokkan Battle or Grand Order without having to worry about spending money on it because Belgium just made loot boxes and other such gambling illegal. If more countries join it could be pretty big. I doubt JP would do it since they make tons of money off gachas, but hey the rest of the world might eventually join

they'll just shut down your server if they can't make money off of gacha so let's not celebrate too early

Hey man all the Belgian Dokkan Battle players can still play the game. They just cant buy anything and theyre one of the countries that hit top grossing for this game multiple times so its a pretty significant hit

What he's saying is that they'll have no reason to bother supporting the game in those regions anymore, so they'll eventually cut it.

Thats not really a bad thing in the case of these games because they just exist as cash grabs anyways. I mean they barely even qualify as games at all. It sucks for all the people who spent money on it I guess

I'd rather have Girls Band Party grab my cash every so often than to not be able to play it at all.

You know what I meant. All these gacha games would die out in a few months if addicts werent funding them. Sure you can be f2p in them, but the new banner characters are always cooler or stronger or whatever to tempt people to spend and the odds of getting them are way too low. Some are way worse with that than others, but theyre almost all the same in the end.

The content is all focused on summoning new characters and theyre so frequent youd have to spend if you want them. I mean Ive played Dokkan Battle for over 3 years now and if the US decided to ban loot boxes/game gambling and Dokkans servers closed down then oh well theres tons of real games out there to spend time on instead.

Girls Frontline best gacha. No greedy locking characters behind paid currency. Characters can drop from maps, and can only be pulled with in game resources and not paid stuff. Paid Gacha is 100% cosmetic items.

You wouldn't buy them if they were full price games anyway swordz. You've probably played mobile games more than 'real' single player games in the past year too.

I mean thats more because I havent really played many single player games this year and spend tons of time playing Overwatch, but Ive even played that solo more than any other game Ive played this year. Most of the single player games I played this year have been super short stuff like Rayman, but even those are probably more time spent than what I do on mobile games. Considering they have stamina you cant really play them all that often daily
