For me, it's between Destiny and Borderlands. I think Destiny 1 cost me a bit more with all the expansions. Borderlands was pretty cheap for DLC and I only bought core stuff.

Destiny must have cost me close to $150.

Probably Halo 3 back in the day. Got the Legendary Edition, which I never really buy special editions. Then all the map packs and basically bought XBL just to play that and later on Gears online.

I guess in a way I spent $400 on MGS4 since it was the only reason I bought my first PS3. But I ended up getting tons of games for it later so I wouldn't count it.

And I guess I could count MGS2 at $62 since I bought both SoL at $50 and Sub at $12.

Fire Emblem Fates was $80.
I think thats what I paid for Disgaea too since it was kinda rare.
BotW DLC was $20 as well as the $60 for the game.

It's fine to spend some money on games. Don't treat it as "value per hour". Some short games I have were like $50 (after tax) but I enjoyed all 10 hours greatly.

Destiny 2? I was too nice. I thought the grind would be more fun. Waste of money.

Rock Band. I bought the full band kit when it came out, which was like $180 iirc, bought a second guitar, and spent waaay too much on DLC songs over the coure of the series.

I have at least 800 DLC songs in Rock Band 4, but a good chunk of those came from imports of all the Track Pack discs and the games themselves.

Little over $100. Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel complete in box and Metal Gear Solid 3: Limited Edition complete in box.

I've probably spent at least $300 on Runescape membership over the years. If membership fees don't count, next highest would be $170 for Black Ops 2, since I bought the game twice (XB360 version and Wii U version) and also spent $50 for the season pass on the XB360 version.

I spent $100 on the Collector's Edition of Grand Theft Auto IV and regretted it so much that I never bought a special edition again (unless it was heavily discounted). The duffel bag's zipper ripped and the metal keychain broke within weeks, making both unusuable, plus the CD was crap and I had no real use for the lockbox.

The real slap in the face, though, was how terribly unfun the game itself was.

Lol. Yes. Boosters alone for trading cards stuck but a viable deck? I never went that far. I collected off and on. Probably $600 or so over time. Not bad as a casual collector.
