With Balthier's elimination, only two of my top ten remain alive in the top ten. And there's only one character left in that sweet spot between top ten and bottom ten (for this particular top tier ranking.)
Rules: - You personally (No bots/scripts/lending of accounts) can save 1 character per hour. - A character needs 3 votes to be saved. - 3 unique users need to save a character for that character to be saved. - Ambiguous (i.e. "Cid" or "Cloud") or "If X, then Y" saves will not count. - Last character unsaved is eliminated. - No alts, no rallying, no post deletion/editing (unless correcting an update), no spoiler tags. Save trading is A-OK! - If you want to update, make sure it's accurate. - Only Inviso can start up new topics. - Community Rule is in effect. Deliberate rules violations will result in bans. 23. Setzer Gabbiani
As I said with Locke, FFVI has a big enough cast that you're gonna at LEAST find SOME good characters, unless you're just outright biased against the game. Setzer is another example of this being the case, as he's like the Balthier of FFVI (albeit a much much lower key version.) He's got the whole sky pirate thing going for him, even though he's not a pirate, but rather a music aficionado that wants to kidnap an opera singer because he's super infatuated with her. But more than that though, I just like the fact that he's a gambler. That immediately makes him more fascinating to me, because there's an element of luck added to his gameplay, and an element of cockiness inherent in his personality. Plus, he used to be one of my go-to characters when I dreamed up video game character versions of Survivor seasons. Always good to have a strategic gambler in the mix. --- Touch fuzzy. Get fuzzier.
