Round 5
You will go against another user in a randomized match-up involving both of your [Character]s.

- The level of your [Character] x 10 will be the starting value. The order of the characters sent in the PM will determine the match-ups. Whoever has the higher value in the head to head matchup will win. The team with 2 wins will win the match (1 win in the case there is a draw).
- If there is a tie in battles won after two battles, the winners of their battles will face off for the tiebreaker.
- There will be one randomly decided condition in play for each battle:

Final Fantasy Boost
Final Fantasy Penalty
No Condition
No Condition

Boosts will result in + 100 for characters from that series.
Penalties will result in 100 for characters from that series.

- You can use up to 2 items in the battle. You must include who you wish to use the item on when you send your PM. You may use multiple items on one character.
- You may [BUY] items in the first 9 hours before you send your picks but you must post the action in the topic.
- For this round, you may go into debt down to -1000 to [BUY] items. If you go down into debt and do not earn back enough in the match to pay it back, there will be a penalty.
- You do not have to use any items you buy.
- The sum of the [Character] values in all battles of the match will be converted into points as your earnings.
- The loser will pay the winner from their earnings (30% if 0-2 and 20% if 0-1)
- Death Clause will not be in effect.

- PM me the order of your characters with any items you wish to use next to the characters name.
- If one of your characters is dead, you will have a dummy to take their place for the match (Lv. 53). You may use items on the dummy. Dummies can not gain exp.
- You have a ~24 hours to send in your picks (12:00 PM PDT)

Anyone who didn't train characters last round didn't read that this round was just characters vs characters. Or they were fine with losing this round.

Either way, does winning this round even really make that big of a deal? The amount of points you get isn't really that big and if you lose you only lose like 20% of your earnings from the round? Big whoop.

Ermine I trained both of my characters last round and I still have no chance, because I happened to train my Pokemon back in Round 2.

And the whole thing of this game is if you lose twice you're out. I'm on that final chance.

I forgot that was still a thing. People have been losing multiple times (even missing rounds) and still haven't been eliminated but I guess the people who lost the first round all went to the cathedral.

In terms of points earned and such tho, depending on the items you use in battle, there's actually a decent chance you come out losing money (points) instead of gaining, even if you WIN

Bane isn't guaranteed a loss, but he is at an disadvantage and would either need help from items or the RNG condition going his way.
