- The level of your characters/Pokemon x 10 will be the starting value for each. Whoever has the larger sum from all 8 of their combatants will be the winner.
- Your FOP (1 next to it in spreadsheet) will get a bonus depending on where they are placed:
First Spot: + 250
2nd-7th: +125 and 25% chance of random status effect to 1 member of opponents team
8th/Last: +500

- If you correctly predict where your opponent placed their FOP (First, Middle, Last), their first pick bonus will be nullified.
- Type Clause will be in effect for matchups: +100 if 2x effective; +200 if 4x effective; -100 if no effect
- Karen Clause will be in effect
- Death Clause will not be in effect

- PM me a list of your 8 combatants in the order that you want. The order will matter for your match. Characters can only verse other Characters and Pokemon can only verse other Pokemon. Matchups will be adjusted accordingly.
- You have 24 hours from the time of this post to send your picks. (9:40 PM PDT)

your characters DO match up against other characters but whoever wins that battle has no effect on whether you win the match or not. it's just for fun stats.

they contribute to the total. the W-L stuff is just for fun since there's a battle records page in the spreadsheet.

err also they matter for level gain. that hasn't changed since round 1. when i said "just for fun" i meant that the number of Wins or Losses a Character/Pokemon has will not factor directly in to character strength or whatever. they will factor indirectly because you gain xp/levels for winning obviously but if a Character with a 1-2 record verses a character with a 3-0 record, the records themselves will not affect the outcome of the battle.

For Round 4, you will get two actions.

You can go to the [Arena] with 1 [Character] to test your skills. How successful you are will be determined by RNG (some experience is guaranteed). There is an entry fee (300). You may also receive money depending on your success. This takes up one action.

You can go to the [Temple] with 1 [Character] to meditate. You will gain a set amount of experience. The growth from the [Temple] is higher than the minimum possible growth from the [Arena]. This takes up one action.

You can go to the [Forest of Light] with 2 Pokemon to train. How successful you are will be determined by RNG (some experience is guaranteed). This takes up two actions.

You can also [Do Nothing]. There is a very small chance of incurring an advantage from this option. Whatever that means.

The round will end either when everybody has posted two actions or when ~24 hours has passed (9:00 AM PT/12:00 PM ET).

Did I get punished for my opponent not sending any picks for the last round? Because there was no match ups I just didnt get any super effective bonuses of anything

For my battle I was banking on Inviso seeing that I basically had no chance unless I put my FOP in last, so my FOP in first.

BUT the other part of my plan worked out. I basically had no choice BUT to predict Last for Inviso's FOP since it was gonna be a death sentence if I didnt, and if i was wrong i could try to make up the difference of 250 instead of 500. And THEN if I was right about Espeon going last I put Mimikyu there for the type advantage bonus and combined with nullifying the FOP bonus I could win that match. And woo I did.

But you should see the amount of type advanatages Inviso had on me, Decidueye covered THREE of my pokemon while Weavile had a 4x advantage on TWO of my pokemon. That combined with the free 45 character points that I had no way to change, and I was destined to lose that fight even more than I did.
