Show #6: KING OF THE RING

-Eaed is here with BACK TO THE FUTURE. His guests tonight are Bowser and the Miz: KoopAWESOME! They come out, and Miz actually plays to the crowd a bit. Eaed is a bit skeptical of the face turn, still a bit banged up from Miz's assault. They chat civilly for a bit, though, until Eaed gets to his main point: a giant crate on one side of the ring. He says he was given this box for Bowser, and suggests Bowser open it. It's....a Chain Chomp! It gnaws on Bowser a bit before he gets it under control. Eaed clarifies that the box was from Sonic, who claims that Bowser is small time next to what Sonic has to face every day! He wants to have a Chain Chomp MATCH with Bowser!

-Bowser starts to reply, but is cut off by Incineroar. Incineroar says that's nice and all, but the REAL story is how he's gonna thrash Miz tonight before becoming King of the Ring!

-Incineroar is in turn cut off by Dario Cueto, who is going to give us the real story. Cena defending against another Man of Low Moral Fiber seems a bit....blase, so instead of a hardcore title match tonight....you're getting a hardcore title BATTLE ROYAL!

((...which drastically lowers the odds of finishing tonight, much less before Wifebolo gets home from work lol))

-Panthera v. Pentagon Jr.
Panthera seems to be feeling good about this one after Pentagon failed at Triangle Trauma. Pentagon gets the upper hand on the opening exchange, and leaves the ring to argue with JALEEL WHITE at ringside! Pentagon turns away...and White smacks him with a chair! Did he do that~? Once recovered, Pentagon grabs a mic and starts complaining loudly in Spanish. He walks out on the match, despite Panthera's protests!
Winner: No contest

-Panthera follows Pentagon, trying to get him to settle down, but Sandor Clegane appears and asserts that this fed IS pretty ridiculous.

-Vince McMahon is at ringside! He and Randy Savage bicker a bit on Savage's way in.

-HARDCORE: "Macho Man" Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth v. Sandor Clegane
All sorts of random stuff is scattered around and even in the ring. Clegane suplexes Savage to the floor, but Savage finds a cash register under the ring and brains Clegane with it. Clegane no-sells and fires off some right hands! Clegane lifts Savage up for a powerbomb, but Savage counters with a head scissors. Clegane no-sells that as well! Liz pleads with Clegane to spare Savage, but he headbutts her! Clegane gets Savage in an abdominal stretch, but Savage rolls around...and reverses it into a piledriver! Liz gets to her feet, and she and Savage cheer each other on. Cover! 1...2..kickout. Clegane is up first, and hits a big boot...then THROWS Savage through a plate of glass propped up in the corner! That's gotta be it! Cover....Clegane wins!
Winner: Clegane

-Clegane makes some quite uncouth remarks about "head" "butts" in relation to Savage and Liz. Savage is furious, but too dazed to do anything about it.

-KOTR SEMIFINAL: The Miz w/Bowser v. Incineroar w/Guzma
Miz offers his opponent a handshake, but Incineroar declines. Incineroar gets an arm twist off the opening tie-up, and slams Miz into the mat. Incineroar gets Miz in a ground headlock, but Miz slips out and...locks in the Figure Four! Miz breaks it after taking a few chops to the chest, but retaliates with some kicks to the chest. He's feelin' it! Miz hits a lariat, but Incineroar pops up and responds with a DARKNESS Lariat! Incineroar tosses Miz into the corner, and goes for another grounded headlock. Miz stands up while Incineroar is hanging on...and hits a Death Valley Driver! That might do it...and does! The Miz monster push continues!
Winner: Miz

-Rikku dashes into the ring, and administers a celebratory hug to the (newly single, maybe?) Miz.

-Sonic proposes that, if Maniac and Miz are such good buddies after last week, maybe Maniac should get a Miz shirt and wrestle in that! Maniac says he will....IF he can't beat Sonic.

-KOTR SEMIFINAL: Maniac64 v. Sonic the Hedgehog w/Tails
Tails immediately pulls Maniac's leg. Maniac shakes Tails off, but Sonic gets in a couple of shots before the ref separates them. Sonic plays to the crowd (who are confused by a face/face match where the winner fights a face for #1 contendership to a quite possibly face champion) and then somersaults right into Maniac...but Maniac catches him and hits a backbreaker! Sonic kicks out as he gets up, then goes for a springboard dropkick. Maniac catches Sonic's foot....whips him around by it....and FLINGS him out of the ring! Sonic goes crashing through the announce table....and can't beat a 10 count! We're headed for a rematch, ladies and gentlemen!
Winner: Maniac

-Cueto comes out and says Maniac SHOULD be DQ'd for throwing his opponent over the top...but he'll let him off this time because VIOLENCE.

-B8WL TITLE HARDCORE BATTLE ROYAL: Cena (C), CPU, Mario, Bryan, Kenshin, Bison, Kora, Eddv, JOHNNY MUNDO, THE ROCK
Rock kicks Bryan into the ropes, then goes after CPU. CPU smacks him with the car door he brought to the ring. CPU rushes Rock...and shoves him over the top with the car door! Kenshin tries to eliminate Eddv, but Eddv elbows him in the chin. Mundo is surveying the action from atop a ladder, and dives onto Eddv! Eddv finds his feet with the help of the ropes...but Bryan hits a Knee Plus, sending him over the top and out! Bison smacks Mario with a chair, but Mario rolls with the blow, bounces off the ropes, and hits a dropkick. Mario follows with a moonsault off the top! Kora is belaboring Cena with a chair, but the champ won't quit! Kora gives up and switches focus to Kenshin.

Mario hits Bison with a hammer, sending him over the top! Kora has retrieved CPU's car door, and bonks Kenshin with it. Cena hits a flapjack on Mundo, then a springboard stunner! Mundo nearly bounces out of the ring on the sell, but hangs on. Cena hits a modified 5-Knuckle Shuffle on the dangling Mundo, eliminating him! Kora clotheslines Kenshin out of the ring! Bryan hits a spear on CPU through a propped up pane of glass! CPU's done, and Bryan rolls him out.

Time for the FINAL FOUR STAREDOWN between Bryan, Mario, Kora, and Cena. Kora starts to go for Mario, but Mario eats a mushroom and Kora thinks better of it. Mario Tornado on Bryan! Super Jump Punch on Kora! Bryan rolls out of the ring and grabs a ladder. He hooks Cena between two rungs, and pulls him over the top that way! We're gonna have a new champ! Mario Ground Pounds Kora's face, and throws him out. It's Mario versus Bryan for the B8WL Title! Tie up....Bryan gets a hammerlock...pushes Mario to the ropes....backs up....and superkicks Mario over the top!

Winner and NEWWWWWW Champion: Daniel Bryan

-The celebrating Bryan bumps into Maniac backstage. Bryan hopes it's Maniac who gets crowned King- he deserves it!

-KING OF THE RING FINAL: The Miz w/Bowser v. Maniac64
Maniac comes out hot, with a series of blows. The ref (and Miz) are distracted, and Bowser hits Maniac with a fireball! Miz hits a bulldog out of the corner. Fans are getting behind Miz somewhat, and he feeds off that to level Maniac with a double chop! Maniac is right back up though, and pulls Miz in...Piledriver! Maniac jams the KotR crown over Miz's eyes, and then hits another slam. Miz recovers enough to kick Maniac in the head, and both men are down.....and neither can answer the ten count!
Result: Double KO

-Bryan is just as upset as the crowd is! He implores Cueto to restart the match, but there's no response. Bryan sighs and raises both men's hands.

-Champion's Corner, with Daniel Bryan! His guest tonight is Nick Foles, a man who also knows about winning as (according to five seconds of google) the reigning Super Bowl MVP! Cueto comes out instead though- Bryan isn't a good enough champ to host "Champion's Corner," so instead he is going to be the guest. Also, Cueto can't believe Bryan and all these idiots expected Foles to show up! Instead, Mundo will be hosting. Mundo insults Bryan for a while, and Maniac comes out to defend his buddy's honor from this guy who has done nothing in B8WL and can't even keep a girl happy with washboard abs! Cueto comes out again and notices that there's been a lot of love going around in the title picture, and he's always been such a fan of his talent getting along and being friendly. Therefore to promote this, next week Bryan is going to have a new tag team partner! Maniac and Bryan are very excited, and Bryan leads a YES chant for a bit. That's right, Daniel Bryan will team up with one of the finalists for King of the Ring....THE MIZ! I mean they're both faces but uh

-Panthera v. Pentagon
It's a rematch from KotR, after Pentagon took his ball and went home. On commentary, King is busy wondering if this newer, softer Miz is good enough to team with Bryan. Panthera actually has a bit of speed advantage over Pentagon, but Pentagon is even meaner and angrier than usual tonight, and is able to keep pace with a brawling style. Rosemary shows up with a mic and starts babbling for a while, distracting both men for a bit. Panthera is the first to regain focus, but Pentagon no-sells him and beats him up for a bit before Panthera slips a clothesline and gets in some more offense. The cats try to help, but the referee removes them from the ring. Still, Pentagon is having trouble with Panthera countering everything, and almost fails to kick out of a drop toe hold. Pentagon's first to his feet after the cover, though, and gets Panthera in the dreaded arm breaker! Panthera gets to the ropes just in time. Pentagon whips Panthera into the ropes, Panthera ducks a flying crossbody...and hits the Pounce! 1...2...3!
Winner: Panthera

Pentagon attacks the celebrating Panthera from behind! He goes to break Panthera's arms, but Panthera escapes before the hold is locked in. Panthera escapes up the ramp...right into a lariat from Sandor Clegane! Clegane bullies Panthera back to ringside, where Pentagon puts him through a table. Panthera is gonna be feeling that one for a while...

-Incineroar promos before his match. He has noticed that the good guys seem to do well in B8WL, so maybe he'll play by the rules, and be a nice guy! About the only person in the building who buys this is Eaed, who shakes Incineroar's hand pre-match.

-Match: Eaed v. Incineroar
To his credit, Incineroar DOES wrestle this match clean. (despite a brief tiff with the ref about an alleged hair pull, and the suspicion of the crowd) Eaed doesn't really have an answer ready for Incineroar's arsenal of strikes, and goes down rather quickly to a particularly nice dropkick.
Winner: Incineroar

Incineroar mockingly thanks Eaed for believing in him, before wiping his feed on Eaed and walking out laughing. Poor eaed! You'll get 'em next time!

-Bridget is interviewed at ringside, and wants Johnny Mundo's hair and pants. Mundo does not find this particularly flattering, and yells at Bridget on the way to the ring.

-Match: Savage w/Liz v. Mundo
Liz taunts Mundo because it's national "poop on Mundo" day, and while Mundo is distracted, Savage applies a full nelson into an atomic drop. Mundo fails to even get out of the gates as Savage takes out some aggression, and a vertical suplex gets a 2.9999. Macho plays to the crowd, the ref tends to Macho, and Liz finishes Mundo off with Bridget's yo-yo. FACES.
Winner: Savage

-Pentagon has decided that this is, like many other things, [non-tos-friendly spanish terms]. He runs in, knocks Liz down, and levels Savage! Savage gets his arm broken!!

-Match: Rock v. CPU
CPU brings the car door to ringside to taunt Rock...and hits him with it before the bell! Rock never recovers, and CPU whoops his candy ass all over [city we are in this week!]
Winner: CPU

CPU's music doesn't play after the match, and instead Cena comes out. As a successful recording artist, Cena had a talk with the boys backstage, and they decided CPU needs new music. CPU has to stalk backstage while Cena cuts a diss track on him.

-Match: Mario v. Clegane
Clegane comes out with a standard of sorts- a fake cat head mounted on a pike, with a Macho Man hat on it. He HAS been wrecking some people lately, but Mario was runnerup for the championship! They waste no time with the fisticuffs. Clegane hits a backbreaker, but Peach buys time until Mario can recover with a flurry of punches and a stomp to the head. Hulk Hogan hops the barricade and argues with Peach! She's not respecting the brotherhood of wrestlers, brother! Mario tries to break them up, but eats a Big Boot (on the outside, where it's legal I guess!) Clegane no-sells a Mario Tornado, but Mario follows up with a biiiig right hand! Clegane's down for the three count!
Winner: Mario

-Sonic comes out after the match! He and Mario have a long and complicated history...there's a tense moment...and then they shake hands!

-Miz tries to talk Bowser out of the bad blood with Cena and Maniac, but Bowser ain't havin' it.

-GRUDGE MATCH: Cena and Maniac v. KoopAWESOME
Cena and Bowser start, which means the crowd is solidly behind Cena. (well, as much as a crowd is ever solidly behind Cena, anyway) Cena feeds off this for a flurry of offense right at the start, capping off with a Springboard Stunner and a YOU CAN'T SEE ME. Cena locks up, but Bowser sneaks a claw to the gut! Bowser throws Cena into the ropes, but Cena tags in Maniac. Bowser just gives Maniac a big ol' body slam, then tags in Miz. The KotR finals! Maniac hits a headbutt, tags in Cena, and hits a double suplex with him. Bowser runs in the ring while Miz is down. He gets on his knees and begs Cena to reconsider! Cena looks unsure...and Bowser low blows him and hits the Bowser Crush! Bowser runs interference on Maniac while the oblivious Miz rolls over for the cover...1.....2.....3!
Winners: KoopAWESOME

But wait! During the post-match celebration, Miz sees a replay of the finish! He argues with Bowser, then goes over to consult with the ref....and forfeits the match! Bowser's pretty pissed as we go off the air to Cena's music.

"As I was saying before my depression flared up again, Cena... you're a 'successful music artist' in the same way Johnny Depp's a 'well-regarded actor'. The *last* time you had any success in your field was over a decade ago, and you haven't done a dang thing worthwile since! For frick's sake, no one even remembers you had a few songs with Wiz Khalifa three years ago, that's how far your musical stock's fallen!"

M. Bison welcomes us to PSYCHO DRIVE, with his guest, the man who is on a quest to injure the whole roster, Pentagon Jr.! Pentagon comes out accompanied by....one of Panthera's cats! it's supposed to be his wife and they have an affair, but I figured that'd be kinda weird to do with a B8er The cat is letting Pentagon hold him and pet him and everything. Bison and Pentagon discuss the latter's streak of injuring folks, and how this particular cat left Panthera for a REAL man. We're about done here when Dario Cueto comes out! He has one thing to add...that Bison only got his show because Cueto forgot about him when he booked the matches for the evening! Bison is irrelevant! Pentagon throws the fuming Bison into part of his own set (specifically, the giant bell from his SF2 stage) to add injury to insult!

Pentagon stays in the ring for the opening match, but first Rock has a little story to tell us....and here to help him out is the Rock's good buddy Wishbone! Wishbone comes out, decked out in Rock armbands and a cut up shirt. Once upon a time, there was a very mean jabroni who had to beat up people with car doors to win matches! An undersized CPU impersonator appears to growl at the fans. But then one day, the Rock came along, and laid the smacketh down on his candy ass! Wishbone dutifully chomps on the impersonator's rear, and slapstick hijinks ensue. CPU has heard about enough of this, and storms out to yell at...Wishbone, which isn't the smartest idea. CPU takes a Rock Bottom!

-Match: Rock v. Pentagon
A back and forth match in the early stages, but Pentagon's fired up tonight and takes control in the second half. He tosses Rock to the outside and follows with a wicked plancha, but when he rolls Rock back in for the finish, Rock snags him and hits a piledriver! Both men are down for a bit, but Pentagon is first up and kicks Rock in the head. There's the Sacrifice! Rock taps!
Winner: Pentagon Jr.
Rock keeps tapping after the bell, so Pentagon decides to let him go with his arm relatively intact.

Cueto thinks that Sonic is in over his head with this...Chain Chomp match. He hopes Bowser will find him a tasty snack.

-Match: Sonic v. Sandor Clegane
Clegane manages to enforce his own tempo throughout the match, wearing Sonic down with rest holds and power offense. Sonic battles back, but Clegane hits a Jackhammer for a 2 count, and chokes Sonic out in frustration. Sonic gives Clegane a few chops, but Clegane no-sells...and hits an Axe Bomber! 1...2....3!
Winner: Clegane
Cueto comes out to belittle Sonic some more, but Clegane gets a bit miffed at the minimizing of his win. Who does this fancy fop think he is, anyway?

-Match: Panthera v. Bowser
Due to an abundance of doublebooking I didn't notice until now, Panthera is forced to fight hurt! To make matters worse, Bowser cheap shots him before the bell. Panthera is able to fit in some signature moves, but the arm injury is clearly taking its toll and stifling his momentum. Bowser is enjoying this, and wants Panthera in a CAGE next time! Then stuff like THIS won't happen! Bowser hits a backbreaker and tosses Panthera out of the ring to be attacked by a pack of Koopas! That's a DQ, man.
Winner: Panthera

Bowser complains about how everybody is out to get him, with Bryan trying to steal his partner and now this bogus DQ.

-Match: Kenshin Himura v. Incineroar w/Guzma
Before the match officially starts, Guzma gets on the mic to hype his partner while Incineroar shows off his muscles. Kenshin is unimpressed. Guzma has a megaphone and continues to heckle Kenshin during the match. Kenshin's demeanor is starting to crack, letting a bit of the Battousai come through. That said, Incineroar is a tough cookie and manages to survive some big moves to put Kenshin away with an Axehandle Smash.
Winner: Incineroar

Bison comes out after the match to congratulate Incineroar. They're both loners, but Bison recognizes a similar drive to Incineroar.

-Match: Maniac, Mario, and Cena v. Men of Low Moral Fiber
The MLMF try to cut a pre-match promo, but Maniac's entrance cuts them off abruptly. Rude. The face team get in some good spots, but the heel stable has much better fluidity and teamwork. Maniac never even sees action, other than getting blindsided by Kora as a distraction to allow Eddv to make a tag to CPU. Mario makes a valiant attempt at carrying the day...only for CPU to smash a potted fern over his head. Deciding against questioning the dirt and shards of pottery in the ring, the ref counts the three.
Winners: Men of Low Moral Fiber

Johnny Mundo is watching backstage, and is impressed that the faces held out that long.

-Match: Bryan+Miz v. Eaed+Mundo
Mundo comes out with a replica title, claiming he's going to prove a point tonight to earn a shot at Bryan, and then we're all gonna have to get used to Mundo as champ! Bryan's not into that, and hits a top rope dive on Mundo while his back is turned! The match commences, and it's clear that nobody is happy with their partner for the evening, but Bryan and Miz are able to be professionals and keep up frequent tags.
