Why is underage drinking considered ok, but you can't even get the much less harmful drugs

I dont know what you propose to do about that but its already pretty hard for kids to buy alcohol for themselves. They have to either have a good fake ID or an adult buy it for them

Yeah. Multiple imes. Once, my god sister gave me some that they had for a Bachelorette party. I asked if it was alcoholic, she said no, it was...

Then a sip on Whiskey maybe from my mom's boyfriend at the time.

And then some when I was hanging out with a friend.

Also, at a small gathering with friends. (multiple times with different friends)

Maybe at a party I can't quite remember. (Though I don't think so. But possibly) But I don't remember alcohol being there. Not to mention, I think I was still somewhat of a "straight-edge" back then...

And maybe at another party I don't remember fully. But I'm pretty sure I didn't... Though, I do believe alcohol was there...

If she knew, that's kind of mean. I don't usually have an issue with people doing whatever, but if someone asks what something is I'm not going to lie to them.

I don't think she was trying to be mean. I was young. And probably made a funny face when I tasted it.

Yeah, drinking in adolescence has even been noted as something extremely normal by my college psychology classes. I can get not drinking, but waiting until 21 is straight up something I have never heard of anyone actually doing. Every senior in my graduating class had drank underage for sure.

Beyond something small with a holiday dinner no, I don't believe so. The pressure was never there. I didn't do parties, my friends weren't the type to drink either, I didn't go to a 'dorm' college, and it was kinda pricey which kept me from buying it myself. What's the appeal with getting so wasted you don't know where you are?

I had my first drink at 18, which is legal age. Lots of people do. I'd imagine that survey refers to the US with its stupid drinking age of 21.

Yes, because parents are allows to serve their children alcohol inside their own home under their supervision. In (most of?) Canada at least.

Though, I've never had more than a sip before I was old enough because I didn't like the taste. Even now at 23, there's only one kind I've found I've liked and I've only drank enough to get tipsy once.

Voted that I don't even drink, but...
Technically tried it twice as a teenager, at the prompting of my parents. Both times were awful and I ended up spitting most of it back out.

Buddy, my parents were given wine as a bed time snack when they were growing up. It's what they did. Helps the kids sleep (lol) and was said to be healthy.

I was a bit of a weak kid, and the local 'cure-all' where my family is from is a raw egg, mixed with sugar and wine. I hated it, but boy did I drink a lot of it.

Other than a sip or two here and there, I only actually drank once about a year and a half before turning 21. Got blackout drunk and woke up naked (I had puked on my clothes and hung them up on the shower curtain). It was very bizzare knowing I had done something but not having any recollection.

I'm assuming he probably also means that there would be some sort of means to make sure people arent driving from the location. I know he's said in the past that he wants alcohol completely banned. I'm more in support of people having the freedom to make choices on what they consume. I mean, people kill people more often texting and driving rather than drinking but I'm not trying to ban smartphones
