The Canadian Liver Association advocates for a vegetarian diet so idk what you are trying to say

It's tied much more closely to BMI

Vegetarians (which vegans are a type of) are less likely to have it

I hate vegans they're always so sickly looking and always telling other people what to do. They won't work like 90% of all food jobs because if they see a burger they'll get jealous.
Taking dietary advice from someone that doesnt eat meat or fat is like shooting yourself in your foot. But yeah I definitely eat too much meat, no arguement there.

Mmm not just carbs. High refined carbs with added oils. That will make you fat in a hurry

The healthiest vegan diet is high carb low fat and it is great for health. It's used to reverse fatty liver

I support low meat and low animal product diets. Most people in the western hemisphere consume way too much meat as it is. 3oz is a dietary serving of red meat yet people are ordering 20oz steaks and wonder why they have gut issues.

lol yeah that makes sense, it's not a chemical interacting with the body in a specific way that causes it, it's a vague concept full of flaws that's accurate.

A vegetarian diet works because it's so full of roughage that you have difficulty taking on vast volumes of calories. Carbs are the easiest and dirtiest way to get energy.

Fructose is natural in fruits (strangely), and this is not easily processed by your liver leading to the fatty deposits of NAFLD, fiber is basically the only redeeming trait of vegetarian diets and that's only neutral.

Wow, classy goal post moving.

That was your first post in a topic talking about vegetarian diets, not specifically fibrous carbohydrates, you bringing up the existence of fibrous carbs doesn't change the subject to being about how much you love fibrous carbs.

Vegetarian diets are shit due to the proportion of calories in the diet being heavily skewed toward carbohydrates. Fiber is worth a whole 1 calorie per gram, sugar is worth 4 per gram, vegetarian diets aren't >4/5 fibrous carbs by weight.

Lots of fruits are great sources of fiber. It impacts how the body handles fructose. Which is why HFCS is so bad but fresh fruit is not so negative for the body

Raspberries have 8 grams of fiber per cup. A banana or an apple has 3-4 grams a piece.

Eat your fruit

High carb=/=exclusively carbs. It's pretty well accepted that a healthy vegetarian or vegan diet needs some beans and nuts and the like in there to get the required protein/fats. Carbs can still make up the bulk of one's calories without completely neglecting other macronutrients. Especially when those carbs are reasonably varied instead of being primarily fructose (sucrose is 50% fructose, HFCS even more so), which messes with the body by bypassing a major insulin-dependent step in carbohydrate metabolism.

High carb=/=exclusively carbs.

A normal diet is already excessively carb focused (what with GDA being based on cheap ration needs in the fucking war), so high carb is severely biased to the point it may as well be exclusive.

It does neglect them somewhat though, and carbs are fucking garbage if you're not actively burning them off.

Ethanol for consumption is taxed differently to ethanol for fuel. Ethanol (C2H6O) is human consumable.

As for what we were talking about, ethanol is a product of fermentation, beer is fermented product.

If you were talking specifically about ethanol outside of fermented beverages, then your statement that most people drink it is false. The vast majority of people who drink any form of alcohol do so in the form of a fermented beverage. Other solutions of ethanol tend to be laced with something like methanol to make them more toxic and discourage people from drinking them.
