358/2 is on DS... also who said it's important? It's easily the most skippable spin-off (aside from Coded I guess, "lol") plus it has a movie in 1.5 so you don't even need to play the game.

I mean Xion might be minorly important in 3 but yeah just watch the movie in 1.5 its like 2 hours long and hits every important story beat anyway.

Just saw the new trailer and did Sora always sound that bad and I just never noticed until now? I'm not even one to usually complain about voice acting but jeez I dunno.

I'm on a KH3 media blackout to avoid spoilers (not that it's stopping folks from spoiling every world announcement for me anyway) but based on 0.2 it's really just a mix of the VA getting way older and also not spending much time in the role since the heyday. He sounds fine in Dream Drop Distance (which actually has one of my favorite Sora quotes) so I wager it'll be okay.

I literally just finished BBS the other day and let me tell you the voice acting in KHIII is Shakespeare compared to that.

I was laughing my butt off at every other line read (that wasn't from Mark Hamill or Leonard Nimoy). It's so terrible.

Just watched it myself and didn't feel it was that far off of usual. A bit off, but nothing surprising given the time taken to get to KH3.

Which is pronounced exactly the same as "keyblade" and yet for some reason everyone reacts with shock and confusion when they first hear it. What, are they somehow able to read the subtitles?

My favorite part is when Ventus gets frozen solid and thrown off a cliff; Aqua runs up to him and asks "You okay?" with all the concern and emotion of someone who had just seen him stumble over his shoes. And you get to watch that scene three times.

yeah Terra's VA in particular is pretty terrible, and Aqua's isn't a lot better

I didn't really notice any problems with Sora in that trailer. He sounds pretty much the same as he always has since KH1 to me.

Terra's is rough but you kind of get used to it and he grows into it, and same with Aqua although I'd put Aqua's VA above Terra's

But yeah Terra's in BBS is just awful. Literally no emotion at all even during scenes that would obviously warrant it (and its not just the character either, if you listen to the Japanese version he very clearly doesn't sound the same)

You should never play KH on anything other than Critical tbqh (except KH1 where Proud is the hardest)

Proud kicked my ass in the first boss fight (Terra). I had to restart like eight times. Aside from that, and the beginning with Aqua, it was okay. I don't think I'd ever want to do Critical. The camera sucks way too much to put up with that bullcrap.

Also, in the newest KHIII trailer Rapunzel STILL isn't voiced. This has to mean something.

That's the thing, she seems to be the only character that doesn't have a dub voice for some reason.

At first it wasn't that noticeable, but they literally muted her out in this latest one. As I said, I hope this means they're trying to get Mandy Moore back, which means maybe she'll voice Aerith again...?

I just realized we have 7 Disney worlds confirmed now (Hercules, Tangled, Frozen, Pirates, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, and Big Hero 6). That's quite a lot. I wonder how many we have left? I can't imagine it's more than 2 or 3. KH2 had 8 Disney worlds, for comparison. And technically one of those was Atlantica which might as well not even count.

Is there a good older Disney movie that hasn't gotten a world in the series yet? So much of this game is 2000's stuff, but maybe we've run out of the earlier things.

As far as major stuff goes, there's Jungle Book, Pocahontas, and Robin Hood, but I'm assuming there's a reason they haven't been done.

If they did The Emperors New Groove and then a proper Lilo and Stitch that would be my dream lineup for '2 more'.

As for other older possibilities... Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmations, The Sword in the Stone, Jungle Book (this was set to be in one of the games already but scrapped), Robin Hood, Pocahontas, Atlantis, Treasure Planet.

And there's also a few more sequels like the 3rd Aladdin movie they could do.
