Newer plane than the last one. Same amount of room, basically none. No more personal video screen. No in seat power. And since its a flight over water no wifi.

Bring your own phone which in no way will have the battery power to use for a 5 hour flight.

Not even a little headphone jack on tge seat for in flight announcements.

Yeah, i try to avoid American and United whenever possible

Southwest, jetblue and delta have served me petty well

Where are you flying? I know at least some of my recommendations don't do international flights

I fly Virgin if I can (though Alaska recently acquired them; I'm really hoping those flights don't start sucking). Otherwise United is typically the only reasonably priced option for me, though.

All those features except room sound like things I don't use on flights. I got a Vita, a 3DS, nowadays I could even bring a Switch. I read a novel this past one.

I had two. They were both working when I left home. They weren't working coming back.

Alaskas okay. Better than United anyways now that they acquired Virgin.

United isn't great but in my experience they have the cheapest fares of the big 3 airlines, and I've had much better experiences with them than with American (haven't flown Delta in 10 years). Obviously Alaska is way way better but Alaska flights are few and far between if you aren't on the west coast, and my local airport is a United hub.

Alaska is like the standard for not being an absolutely fucking horrible airline

No airline is truly *good*, but with Alaska you are reasonably certain to not have the worst time

Also the two times I flew Delta were totally incidence-free so I like them now

I always fly Jetblue, always have had pretty good experiences.

Ive only had negative experiences with JetBlue but their planes are nice. United is a good vacation plane because its cheap and if you cant entertain yourself for a few hours then thats your problem. American has my favorite business/first. Delta I guess I dont really have opinions either way

Yeah its very strange. A newer interior plane with only personal device entertainment available but no in-seat power.

It was an overnight flight so I'd burned most of my power earlier in the day.

Also the flight tracker didn't work on a personal device while over water for no real reason, which was irritating(Who doesn't like peaking at the flight tracker every now and then?).

And all of the mid-flight announcements were bordering on inaudible.

I have never flown on an airplane before so I can't attest to how much United sucks, but from all the stories I've heard... yeah. My sincerest apologies for United being terrible.
