If the Fox deal goes through they'll figure something out that can work for both, or just do Avengers vs. X-Men. They'll also have Doctor Doom back so they might use him.

If not, then probably Kang.

I want Masters of Evil personally. But they may be a one off. I'm actually hoping they're saving a Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers for the movie after Avengers 4 because the heroes will be in space where Zemo takes control of a group of villains and masquerades as heroes to gain control, which would work for the movie version because he thinks the heroes all suck and he could believe he could do it better. This would lead back into an Avengers vs Thunderbolts movie later.

But I'd probably go with Skrulls for a built up villain though, with tons of hints to them throughout the movies.

It might be hard to say until we know what's gonna happen with the X-Men/Fantastic 4

I don't know that I'd want Galactus so soon after Thanos, but Doom seems like a likely option

I imagine if they ever get a Fantastic 4 movie, it'd have a Skrull invasion or something like that, with just a glint of Dr. Doom at the end.

I'm thinking Skrulls in some capacity.

Captain Marvel is set in the 90s and deals with the Kree/Skrull War, so they'll already be introduced. I think the Avengers 4 post credits scene will have someone revealed as a Skrull (Widow or Hawkeye are my guesses) and then we'll have Secret Invasion for Phase 4.

If it's not Magneto clowning the entire MCU to setup AvX as I expect, I would prefer it to be Mephisto. He has way more range than Thanos and his ability to manipulate could lead to a very different longterm story arc than Thanos.

Probably Skrulls. That seems most logical.

But God damnit, I want Masters of Evil/Thunderbolts more than anything else. I think it's definitely possible with Zemo being a hero hating guy who I could see saying he could do it much better than the heroes who "disappear" after They beat Thanos.
