It goes to show how toxic being recklessly "tough" on illegal immigration can be - oops accidentally deported a bunch of legal immigrants who had been here their entire lives. You need to be careful about this stuff. It's a feature, not a bug. Like take the US, historically we definitely don't check to see if Mexicans are legally here/native-born before deporting them.
