I'm not sure if I play a particular set of video games too much in a short period of time, but I end up getting burned out quickly.
I'm already thinking about rushing through MGSV because I am burned out from playing it (it can be a very repetitive game) and want to beat it so I can delete it off my SSD and play something else. I have a very small SSD so I can't just keep a bunch of games on it. I'm considering removing a few multiplayer games I have that I'm not good at (like PUBG). But I'm not burned out from playing video games in general though. There are still so many games I want to play. I feel kinda the same. Nowadays I can usually only play any game for up to 1 or 2 hours at a time before getting tired or slightly bored.
As a kid/teen I could play the whole damn day if I'd liked to. I feel so old : ( --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Only kinda. If a game is repetitive then yeah, I can get bored of it. But if a game is repetitive but has a good story, I can play it for quite a lot longer.

I've been having trouble starting or continuing a game, even with games I like. The past couple weeks my PS4 has mainly been used for watching DVD's, or short-burst games like Tennis in the Face.

Yeah. Then I end up not finishing because I move on to something else. So I have to force myself to only play one game at a time.

if your not enjoying a game, delete it/sell it. I deleted COD Infinite Warfare cause I'm not a fan of COD and I wanted to try out Bloodborne when it was free. COD Infinite Warfare came with the console.
I have an 144 Hr play through of Digimon Cyber sleuth. i bought Hackers Memory for both the VITA/PS4 yet I haven't played it since March and still at ch.4/5 since it has the same mechanics and move sets as the first one. I'm burned out of it cause I don't want to grind to get the same moves as the first game. --- My FC is 4957-4763-9094 (Pokemon Sun) PS3: hellfighter45 D3:UE, Xenoverse 1 PSN: hellfighter44 God Eater R (VITA), DB Xenoverse 2 (PS4), Rocket League ... There's not necessarily any reason to delete it unless storage space is am issue.

I feel kinda the same. Nowadays I can usually only play any game for up to 1 or 2 hours at a time before getting tired or slightly bored. It seems like that for most things for me except like tv. I really enjoy reading but it makes me so tired except like in the morning when I can only read maybe an hour. It is weird getting older. Every now and again though, I can sink a lot of hours into a new (for me) game. I guess it's why I like arcade style games cause they give me my gaming fix without overwhelming me. --- Warning: Sometimes biased http://i.imgur.com/V0x5fw8.jpg http://i.imgur.com/IOovUge.gif http://i.imgur.com/zw7bqPH.jpg ... Anyone else experience something like this? I tend to complete a game before I move onto the next. It also helps that I don't feel the need to buy many games on day one and even when I do I don't feel I need to rush my current game in order to play it. This helps me not feel burnt out from playing games. If I bought a game on day one all the time and rushed my games then sure I would feel burnt out rather quick. Revelation34 posted... MGS V is repetitive, doesn't have much of a story and is a slog. Agreed. Which is a shame because they really tightened up the gameplay.
