The goal of the game is doing tricks while skydiving, which was mostly aiming at a certain point and then spinning like an idiot. It's not the worst for me, but I agree with both points - terrible combat and I also stopped playing because Geralt was so freaking boring, couldn't stand the voice actor. I'm not taking the bait. A lot of people like to say that the arcade and console versions of MK4 is when the series started to fall off but I actually enjoy those versions of the game quite a bit. The N64 port is my favorite because the cheesy CGI endings got replaced with even cheesier in-game character model endings and some of them get a laugh out of me.
