Yeah I've heard a lot of horror stories about that one and it certainly looks as bad as people say it is but, unlike MK4 on GBC, I've never had the displeasure of playing that game for myself. Didn't like The Last of Us either, so I guess their style just isn't for me. Not even in my top 30 games though. Probably would've liked it more if I read the books (if the books were any good.) And I played Spore all the way through about three or four times!! Lol but I heard it was a disappointment to a lot of people. I never knew the game existed until it was already out. The game that hurt me the worst was probably Super Paper Mario for the Wii. I absolutely adored the Thousand Year Door for GCN, and to see the battle system completely ripped out of it killed me. Instead you just jump on top of the enemies. Nintendo is so damn attached to appealing to nostalgia. Needless to say next gen I switched to the Sony ship. Nintendo has very few games that are must-plays for me. Games I like to throw the most hyperbole at since they deserve it: FFXIII and FFXV (tie). Game that was most disappointing: Star Ocean 5.
