They went nuts with Lilina's refine while Leo got crap, and he didn't get demoted for some odd reason. Definitely want to build her at some point, and I would have two more copies if I hadn't merged her at 4* and sent home another

The demotions were just all characters that were in the 4*/5* pool except for Tailtiu and later. They didn't demote any characters that were 5* exclusive.

my first Lilina ever was +atk -def, almost a year ago now from hero fest 1. right after i got Sanaki, so felt pretty pointless at the time.

I know I shouldn't focus too hard on side projects when I'm focusing on +10ing another unit, but I think I'm going to start working on Sheena tomorrow(Well "tomorrow"). Double SP on the melee training map I believe, so it should be easy to get some sp, 5* her and level her up again.

The recommendations for the new Tempest Trial are terrible. I send out a team of fully kitted Level 40 5* and it tells me to try Level 30? wut

It's mostly just funny but it does make me waste a bit of my time scrolling up.

They seem to be making a lot of alts recently. Though Hinoka actually needed some love(And no I don't count the two Kanas as clones since they're technically different characters.) Shigure I'll give a pass on because this is a non seasonal variant.

Wonder what impact the new dragons will have on the meta? I already know I'm not going to like Goad Dragons.

Don't think I'll drop many orbs on this banner, if any. Trying my best to hold out for Golden Week.

That said I'm glad they didn't release Lilith yet. I don't think I could resist burning my orbs for her.

Holy shit, Warrior Princess is effective against flying AND armor. I think I can no longer contain my urge to summon. I have been holding out for a while now and of course it's a new flying shiny that does me in. Good thing I didn't go for Kagero

I think Kaze as TT is a fair assumption bit we don't know. Not having to summon for him is a plus for me.

We're really not far from golden week and legendary banner, so waiting is definitely the smart move. I don't regret going in for Kagero yet. I already have more orbs now than I did then despite going for Olwen too.

I don't regret the around 250 orbs that I spent last night trying to get better IVs for my Spring Kagero and attempting to get Spring Sharena.

I ended up getting another Kagero (+Def/-HP) to replace my earlier Kagero (+HP/-Spd), an Alfonse (+Atk/-Res) replacing my earlier Alfonse (+Res/-HP), along with my first Elise (+HP/-Def) and my first Amelia (neutral).

I also ended up with my first Takumi (+Res/-Spd) which I guess will be CC fodder and a 5* Cain.

i don't think that's a fair assumption at all. we're still early in a TT now and there's going to be another batch of units on May 10th. i think tap battle reward, debuting on the legendary banner, or voting gauntlet banner are all more likely.

It's a bad idea to make assumptions about how a unit will be released if the circumstances seem even a little bit unusual. We know Kaze isn't a GHB unit and it feel too soon for another TT unit.

One thing I've always found strange about the scoring change is how I never seem to see anyone talk about how they are now doing better. If there are a bunch of people who got screwed and are now ranking lower, there should be people who moved up to take their place.

No, the scoring change was bad for the top players as well. A person used to be able to get the max score fairly easily with a team of +10 armors with decked out skills. Now there is some randomness even if you have the best stuff.

You've always been able to buy feathers. Whales that can summon endlessly have plenty of units to send home that they don't need. The monthly deal thing is just a lot cheaper.

Made it back to tier 20 so I'm not totally screwed in that regard yet.

Need to start raising up new units. After my main project, I don't know who I'd want to +10 outside of Sheena. Maybe Lukas because I love me a good physical wall.

Only Red demote I'm really interested in is Caeda but I literally haven't pulled her yet. Also Roy but rip that TA3 fodder if I merge him up(And to a lesser extent, part of me would feel bad for merging away my first ever 5* because he's +hp/-Spd I think.)

Got Nanna (4*) off the free. Kinda cool I guess. Guess she's 4-5* now. Wondering if I care enough to give her 20000 Feathers to give Serra Restore+. Probably not. It's definitely the best staff right now imo but it's not better enough.

Leif has some amazing build options with S. Drink. Slaying Edge + S. Drink + Quickened Pulse is a guaranteed Astra or Ignis in the first combat, which is hilaarious. I haven't gone so far as to give him a Slaying Edge yet (Light Brand is doing just fine so far) but I'm definitely enjoying him with Quickened Pulse regardless.

Wouldn't that only be guaranteed Bonfire/Draconic Aura/Luna/etc? Unless you're assuming a double which... well he is pretty fast with a +Spd refine certainly, but they're still far from guaranteed.

But yeah regardless the upped special charge opens some unique possibilities. He can fish for first-strike OHKOs like your standard Brave + Death Blow + Quickened Pulse/Heavy Blade build but has a bit more flexibility than they normally do due to speed giving him a better enemy phase.

New Hinoka seems pretty neat, perhaps the first real competition Lyn has faced for the crown of best archer. Anti-DC vs anti-armour (with built-in Drive Atk being a great bonus), so they do both serve different niches. Assuming you have Hone Fliers, It's not too hard to get Hinoka to OHKO pretty much every armour in the PvP if she's not -Atk (though obviously the super-bulky Wary Fighter ones sometimes seen in GHBs/etc. are another matter).

what? there's a lot of armors in arena that can survive that, and she pretty much dies on the counter-attack to all of them that can counter ranged.

I don't think Hinoka can OHKO many armors in the arena, but she can survive most counters when fully buffed. Neutral Hinoka with Fury and Fortify Fliers can withstand up to 62 attack power, and you can manage a little better if with ally supports, and spur effects. I like to give my Azura Drive Def along with her default weapon for nice team support.
