Robin is like the easiest GHB we've ever had. you don't need to tank the first turn like that, just attack with a mage, dance, then draw back or reposition.

Robin, Ursula, and Xander are extremely difficult emblem quests if you don't have some really key units because the walls and enemy positions means you have to have a guy capable of getting smacked in the face by 3-4 enemies just to start the fight, as well as units capable of fighting back in cramped corridors. Like I don't have a single seasonal flier so clearing them with Fliers was hell because there's a ton of walls and all ranged fliers are seasonal.. Had to follow an online guide to the letter (and promote Caeda to 5*).

Yea, I haven't had a need to look up videos for this game in a while. My Flier Emblem can take on anything aside from overly ridiculous maps like Takumi Infernal. I should probably be using Brave Roy more in these things

Looking up videos ruins the fun.

The specifics of which GHBs challenges are hard varies a lot with your team options. I generally find horse emblem and flier emblem easy (hell, flier emblem is my current go-to for infernal GHBs in general), armour emblem hellish, and infantry somewhere in the middle.

Didnt realize Ursulas ninja buddies have Poison Dagger, so my VL Ike was greeted with a present. Baiting that ninja to start the fight is out for Infantry Emblem

I'm pretty sure I took care of the poison dagger with Adult Tiki if that's an option. Defense boon and refinement with steady breath and possibly distant defense.

This might be the first week I can stay in tier 20 with water season and a bonus unit in my core. Just got 5106

I'm feeling accomplished. Was finally able to devote some time to clear out all the Infernal quests in one day. The bright side to experimenting is I get to clear away some fodder. Even if the skill is only used for that one battle, it's still worth it. Doing these quests will make the Lunatic ones seem like nothing

well after 300+ orbs, 3 pity breakers and 4 regular Kageros, i finally got Spring Kagero. +def -HP. just like on the previous seasonal banner going for Lyn, she came the next session after going back to 3% from the third pity breaker, this time a +atk -def Sothe. the funniest thing happened, i clicked Sothe once and his quote was "If you hold strong to your feelings, you will get what you want." then Kagero next session. convenient that the 5* Sothe was the one with a good nature, too.

sadly only one 4* Sothe and one Setsuna, both of which i got way back on that first night. and no Kleins, though i did get one as a free summon from another banner in that time.

I got four off-banner when I was going for Micaiah IIRC. Didn't think it was possible to have luck that bad and I spent way more money than I wanted to, but I was like "fuck it, gotta have Micaiah"

Huh... Flier Emblem quest for Lloyd's GHB was easier than expected.

Randomly decided to give it a shot, lost because Minerva was off by 1 on the Lance Cavalier and got Lunge'd into another enemy.

Put Initiate Seal Atk 1 on her and tried again.(Also gave Valter +3 Speed) Yep, turned out my team could one round most of the enemies on the field(Nowi has to aggro and get moved out of range to make the enemy move).

And to think, I thought I was going to have to level up Gerome to win(Though I'll still do it just to have a second green flier)

I used about 100 so I got lucky in regards to actually pulling 5s.

I got Olwen and then:

Gray
Mist

Then 3 in a single session: dupe Sonya and Minerva, and a Faye.

I like grand conquest but my team (anna) is getting dumpstered.

Yeah, 40+ is a rough time. I just do the Level 40 version and about half the time, I can make it to the enemy fortress, but it's still somewhat difficult.

GC seems to have a lot of moving parts, a lot more than RD. Reading the info on it was a bit overwhelming

...so you did get a focus, plus 5 other 5*s, and for only 100 orbs? that's not a bad pull at all!

So is the point of GC just to play as many rounds as possible and get the highest score? I didn't know there were so many rounds, and you can't do auto-battle, so it's pretty time-consuming

You can use more than one 'spear' at a time when entering a map. So you can do the equivalent of up to eight battles on one, if you want to. This saves a lot of time.

(But the real answer is that there aren't any heroes I like yet and I don't wanna waste a blessing. No rush to use em.)

I have twice as many unused Blessings as I do trained up 5* units. This is after I already assigned a Blessing to each of them. They aren't common but Blessing aren't that rare of a resource anymore.

The AI is the same but 40+ has inflated stats and tons of units. 40+ is extremely obnoxious so I tend to go with 40.

I've used some of the blessings on random 5* units to get quests. No rush to do the blessing maps though unless they're set to disappear so I don't need to bless my absolute best units just yet.

It's important to put a good one on Serra so I might as well wait. I mean I could just put one on and overwrite later but no real need.

I actually got down to the enemy fort on 40+ on my first try, but yes, it's too frustrating. I'm sure I score better capturing the fort on 40

When you said you could use all your spears in one go, I assumed you meant the rest of the battles would be fought with AI, so that's the AI I was asking about

I just do 40 everytime and use 8 Spears at once. 40+ is too frustrating and I don't really have the patience to change my team up based on map bonuses so I begin with all my fliers.

Apparently, my Fae has helped my friends 154 times now. I don't think I had any before this began

The "helped" numbers are kind of neat. I'm interested in seeing what will happen what to them during the next Voting Gauntlet. I think it still counts as a unit helping you even if they were completely useless in battle.

my "helped" went from 10 to almost 200

also got a Catria from the spring banner with only like 20 orbs spent since i got Kagero so that sort of makes up for how long it took. another neutral-ish, +HP -res.

It's nice to pull them with manageable natures even if it took some time. I was tempted to try for Catria too, but I like Olwen more and she's still great at doing her job

i was actually going for another Kagero and she showed up when there were no colorless. game-wise i don't see her being too useful when i have L'Arachel and Reinhardt. but she has great art and my favorite voice actress. maybe could come in handy for a particular GHB with the debuffs.

Yeah, her art and voice are what does it for me. She does have a better offensive spread than L'Arachel and Olwen, but Reinhardt is still king.

well, my L'Arachel is +spd and is going to be getting merges in the future. plus Ivaldi effectively gives 3 more atk and spd.

Getting to Rank 20 just off Hard battles doesn't seem like it's going to work. I did do some Lunatics as well but not enough. I look to be on pace to finish just outside Rank 18. 18, 19 and 20 all give Conquest Lances so I would have been okay if I reached Rank 18.

I wonder if GC Rank will carry over between matches and we were supposed to get Rank 20 by the end of the 6th day. It'll be funny if every one wakes up tomorrow and realizes they don't have any more Conquest Lances and there's no way to earn more.
