How ironic the one VG I don't have a single bonus unit, I get into top 1k. I was worried Alfonse was going to get a bonus at the end like it was predicted, which would probably kick me down a tier since I had no flags left. I finally learned not to keep too many flags for day 2, especially since how much of a crapshoot these things are and anything can happen. Expected Alfonse to lose and pleasantly surprised he didn't

Score tracker/predictor has them being stuck in Same Hell for 6 hours straight, currently on Hour 4. Other match has had a bonus on one side for literally every hour so far, which a prediction of 3 hours of Same Hell later today. It's not really comparable.

man i'm right on the borderline of top 1000 now for Kagero. i hope there are more people ahead of me that aren't burning flags in the last bonus hour than there are people behind me that actually have Kagero and can pass me. if not i may actually need to burn some flags in the last two hours.

In my experience, your rank goes up if you use 400 Flags during a bonus hour without a bonus unit.

I love how I "only" used 300 Flags the last Chrom hour and my army rank fell in the shitter. Can't afford not to drop 400 this time, but bleh so much for saving.

I never end up saving much. I'm going spend 400 next hour for Chrom and carry over 320 for the finals.

Bah more sames for Chrom vs Lucina. Well at least I'm a shoe in to get a high ranking in the final round just because I have 800 carried over flags now. It only cost me 1200 feathers.

I'm not sure what's more upsetting.

That Chrom overshot into same hell in the finals, or that I failed to get 2k feather rank in round 2 yet again. I actually got most of the good multipliers this time around. Though I guess I messed up with these last 400 because I was hoping for a last minute multiplier.

oh nice i'm not even close to the cutoff anymore. rank 555. and 710 flags to carry into round 3. good thing Lucina won, because Kagero vs Chrom wouldn't even give me enough bonus hours to use 2220 flags.

Not having a bonus unit in round 2 mattered a lot more. I got in at most of the highest bonus periods and still only got sub 3k :(

+spd Tharja with spd seal (or waiting until water season) still doubles him. my +10 Corrin easily killed everything else.

other infernals could end up being pretty tough

+7 Lon'qu put in the work by tanking both Clarisse and Legion and killing Legion on the same enemy phase. Was just cleanup after that.

If he hadn't been able to do that I probably would have had to give some other units the Water Blessing though. My Water team is my weakest one because I figured that Fjorm being there to actually give me the bonuses (not the case for Fire and Wind) would patch up the holes. Lon'qu is the only one above +0. It's worked so far but if the levels start getting tougher things might start getting dicey.

Also, I've been rolling exclusively on Red for a while now, and the results have been very lackluster. My main goal is to get Lon'qu, Marth, or Eirika so I can build up a strong Red option for Arena on a FTP budget (the latter two are being considered mostly as backup plans). Despite them all being available at *4, I've seen none of them for 150+ orbs. Lots of other Red garbage, though! And not even the garbage I would want!

I'm still an expert at pulling random 5* units that I didn't really want but are kind of cool though. Hi there Zelgius, I already had one of you but he was -Spd and you're not, so welcome to the fold!

My water team is my regular arena squad and so this map was easy for them. Tharja kills Legion immediately, and gets repositioned by Fae who kills Clarisse.

Maybe the next one will prove more difficult for a different team.

I already had a Water Blessing on my Nino, so I just shoved more of them on Eirika/NY Azura/Cordelia. Turned out Nino could solo the entire thing other than whoever the Red Mage was, I forget. Then a few bumps from Cordelia, and easy Orb.

Kagero just had a huge bonus hour. looking pretty likely at this point that Lucina will just barely put Kagero into a bonus hour again at 8, then Lucina 2 bonus hours in a row 9-10, and Kagero will win with the final bonus hour.

58 million isn't enough of a lead. I think Lucina needed closer to 300-400 million to weather the last 2 hours.

well, Lucina will have some spillover from her previous bonus hour. it wouldn't surprise me if she actually increased her lead this hour. but Kagero will definitely win in the last hour.

Pretty disappointed with what the Nameless Blade sounds like unless it has some pretty cool special weapon refinery boost.

Rest of the stuff looks cool though.

I need to take a closer look at the characters they demoted but my initial reaction is it makes the summoning pool a lot worse. It's better for bad characters to be 5* where you never have to draw them.
