SunWuKung420 03/25/18 8:06:27 PM #1:	School shootings are tragic, a violent end to lives plagued by violence. Abuse so pervasive, thoughts so despair, picking up a gun seemed only fair. Perhaps it started at home, perpetuated on the playground and no one seemed to care until their fear was brought to bare. The point I want people to hear, is the gun shots were not the start of violence but the screams of someone who's lived in silent despair, a violent culmination of the cries no one would hear. The gun, or access to, is not the issue and acting upon them will not solve anything. Abusing, bullying, ostrasizing, and abandoning are the root cause. An innocent lost long before they found the gun and so many lost afterwards because no one showed a whit of care, peers and parents alike. The solution lies within truths no one wants to hear. We are to blame that our children live in fear. Fear of abuse from those that should care, fear of abuse from their peers, fear of no one caring until they decided to violently share. We must do better for ourselves and those somewhere out there. This is an issue of caring for everyone, regardless of who they seem to be. School shootings only became 'in vogue' in the past 20 years or so, pretty much since Columbine. The Thompson Machine gun, a fully automatic military grade portable machine gun, was publicly available with zero background check or any gun control whatsoever, since 1921.
