Shotgunnova 03/25/18 1:12:30 AM #1:	1: You have "Groundhog Day" time powers, allowing you to replay each day anew with full knowledge of previous days' events. You can use this spare time to learn hobbies and trades, uncover information, write cringy fanfiction, etc. You decide when to begin the next day; it doesn't happen randomly or when you learn some "life lesson". (Once you decide to advance time, you may not go back to previous days, however.) If you would die through unnatural means, you instead awaken normally and the day repeats. 2: You find a mystical Aztec artifact in your attic, but before you can drink to claim its surfeit of benefits, a spirit bear jumps through a wall and mauls you. In the tussle, the artifact falls and breaks upon a floor-prowling rat's head. That rat goes on to do great, great things for its race, because it gained a snazzy superpower (http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Random), unlike you. 3: You know catoptromancy, magic specializing in glass and mirrors. You can use glass/mirrors to see faraway objects/scenes and divine events (no audio) in the recent past or future. By hitting an object or person with a mirror, you can trap them inside, then take them out at your leisure. You may hide inside glass/mirrors and do short-range teleports between them (also includes other mirror-like glass surfaces). Twice a day, you may use long-range teleportation, being able to touch a mirror and return to one in your house. By destroying an existing mirror, you may summon a new mirror of any size, material and shape (you may sell it if you want). Because your spend so much time in and around reflections, your eyes are immune to light-based damage. 4: You have the ability to create and manipulate copper, and can extract it from objects with great aplomb, almost as though you were smelting it magically. You can extract copper from other people's blood to harm them or cure them of copper-related ailments. The magical copper in your own blood gives you inherent resistances to heat and electrical damage. You can "turn on" part of your power to see where all copper is within a one-mile radius in all directions; large deposits outside that radius are felt as gut feelings. The copper can be sold at your leisure. Like in One Piece, your powers are negated by contact with seawater, which can be fatal to you. 5: You have the magical ability to find missing things. If you wondered what happened to Jimmy Hoffa, you would instinctively know where he is, how he got there, and by whose hand. If you wanted to know where Blackbeard's treasure is located, or whether there's a real Loch Ness monster, you would instantly know it. If you heard a knock on your door and wondered whether it was that axe murderer you'd heard about, you would know. This power is a form of selective omniscience, so you can also use it to find "missing" info like how to create wormholes, teleport, and other info humanity doesn't (and perhaps shouldn't) have. You're only limited by your questions and patience, though it should be mentioned that this power doesn't (1) bend reality; only things that can happen or be known can be learned, and some things you may regret learning (2) give you free wisdom, so you should still be careful who you let in on your finds (3) necessarily convince other people to believe. 6: You have the ability to grant worthiness to objects through physical touch. Like the tale of King Arthur's fabled sword, objects granted worthiness work only for you and no one else. You can make it so normal objects can't be taken/destroyed by others or make it so machines never function. You can deactivate the worthiness of objects you've touched from anywhere on the globe, and may use it for good or ill. (You are inherently worthy and can't be damaged unless you wish it. You can't control living creatures directly. You may grant worthiness ad infinitum, but if you use the deactivation power too often, you'll get a temporary toothache.) 7: On your eighteenth birthday, your wizened grandfather reveals a secret: thanks to the work of your ancestors, you carry the soul of an immortal phoenix. Though you still possess a mortal constitution of sorts, your body has inherent healing properties, disease immunity, and, should you die, you will magically reconstitute yourself (you experience a 75% XP penalty). Naturally, you can also fly around as a phoenix and use its fire attacks, though this may attract unwanted attention. Finally, due to your soul, you can also communicate with any type of bird. If you pick anything else: an evil sentient Kazahkstani train named Saltanat will stalk you down for the rest of your life. It always knows your position, can go off road, can't be damaged, and requires no fuel. Every day you survive, it adds a boxcar of ravenous goblin mercenaries that will hunt you down if they see you. If you survive too long, the goblins will build additional weapons onto Saltanat, like scud missiles, machine guns, and so forth. To offset this, Saltanat and the goblins can't swim and first spawn in Kazahkstan. (They have charm spells that allow them to seamlessly blend into the world of humans, which they'll need in order to get passage over oceans.
