Should I use the Blue Megacites on Ifrit, or is 3* Siren worth it?

Depends on how much you intend to use her.

The only really notable things about Siren 3* are Camo and her 2x 20% esper stat boosts. (And sleep immunity is innate at 3* awakening.)

Only Leviathan 3* and Anima 2* use blue, but they aren't arriving until around autumn.

Stat wise I wouldn't hold back on getting a 7* over 2 6*, unless it is something like Lunera. More so when it is a chain capper.

We don't know exactly yet for JP what it will entail, but hold onto all units you got 100% TMRs on using a ticket or lapis. You can in the future cash in them for unknown stuff.

Huh, so people are saying it's not worth going after Sephiroth / Lila if you already have Tidus and/or Fryevia.

Depends on why you want them in the first place.

Sephiroth is buddy with a few chain families, and can offer 60+% imperils((light or dark) , and 100% on LB.

Lila will hit like a truck, but will not get much improvements as 7*. (You can think of her as over-tuned by weaponizing SPR as mag, and can use killers.)

I'm undecided about whether or not to do the step ups. I want Lila even though she drops off pretty fast from my understanding, but I have almost 170 tickets, with about 40 of those being 4*. Sephiroth isn't a bad consolation prize at least.

Glad the days of going for huge stretches of 10+1s without any rainbows are over though.

I don't really pull much anymore, aside from limited banners where I like the collaboration. I've skipped dailies on more banners than I've pulled on so far in 2018, and they've had some bundles in the last few months that are a huge number of tickets.

Even with refreshing lapis for TMRs, my overall lapis amounts have went up by about 3,000 in the last month, it's nice!

After reading how not Sephiroth isn't even close to the level of Fryevia/Tidus and Lila dropping off pretty fast in 7*, I'm thinking I probably won't bother with the step up. I'll just toss some 4* tickets to fill out a 75% bonus party and then do dailies.

Step up banners seem like just a Whale thing. Free to Play might be able to do it once if they've been very hoarder-esque, but it'll sting when they do, and I doubt they will be able to do it again for a long while.

I'll take my chances.

I wouldn't say only whales. Dolphins can do them pretty easily as well. Someone on the ffbe board calculated it out, and if they're correct you have better rainbow odds doing step ups vs. daily 250s now. Still doesn't really matter because it's all RNG though
