So at universal yesterday my group was lining up for The Hulk rollercoaster, which by the way is one of the best rollercoasters. My sister was wearing her All Might sweatshirt cause so far every day has been cold as balls.

The girl attendant at the entrance to the structure recognized my sister's hoodie and was a big fan so she snuck us on to the service elevator and right to the top of the structure where the car was boarding and we got right in the front row seats. Instead of HULK SMASH we shouted DETROIT SMASH after launch in All Mights honor. Skipped 30 to 40 minutes of line.

All Might is the man and saved the day once again. The Symbol of Peace never fails.

Sentai is just terrible at dubbing, IMO. The voices almost always sound terribly off, and incredibly bland.

While I'm sure Funimation/Sentai aren't this evil, that's unfortunately not necessarily true, see: American phone and internet companies. Instead of competing with each other in areas, they simply stay in specific areas to create a pseudo-monopoly in which they can effectively charge whatever they want, and leave customers with little-to-no option. The one minecraft episode of South park is a sad Truth in Television example.

You can't really compare internet and phone companies to an anime streaming sites though, it's not even the same scope, also you can't "pirate" internet or phone so they don't have that issue either, and the streaming sites know it so they better start making their deals better, their subs and dubs better if they want to keep the cash flowing or people will just keep on sailing the seas.

Yeah, streaming Anime is a very different thing.

I just wonder how much they ever earn off of dubbing. Sounds like a shrinking market to me due to the general public reception as well as the ever growing popularity of anime, growing while being conditioned by the masses

I've been looking forward to this. For those of you who don't know, this is based on an old Japanese live-action hero show called Denkou Choujin Gridman. Hikaru Midorikawa voiced Gridman in the show and he will be reprising his role for the anime, which I expected and am looking forward to. Trigger also made a Gridman short a few years ago which looks really sick. Same staff involved too.

As a tokusatsu fan, I'm excited about this.

Really hope they remake the theme song too.

story of my life

On a side note, I actually really really like Robotics;Note. I thought the cast was fun, though the MC is the worst part who takes a long time to take off (more like needing the entire story to take off ahem) and becomes moderately likable near the end.

I thought the main girl was adorable and needed to have a deeper relevancy to the plot despite being connected to the plot in every way (let's face it, she's brushed aside during most of the important bits). But I liked the payoff for her character by the end.

I kinda wish they had a little epilogue, and that's what I'm looking forward to in that upcoming VN.

Yeah I guess luckily they do have a few stories from Gob Slayer Zero they can pull from instead that is mostly just about murdering an entire village. There will be plenty of people who will complain that it didn't completely follow the source material's beginnings tho

As the production grew more chaotic, episode 7 ended up being broadcast without consulting the studio members about the credits (the animators at the studio were so occupied with episodes 6 and 8 that no one was available to act as animation director, so they had to resort to falsely crediting someone for the episode)

There's definitely the winning strategy in BotW, which is just last minute dodging and wailing or resetting the stagger with the right kind of timing.

But they do actually give you quite a lot of tools to fight with. I love using metallic objects and putting it over enemies' heads personally

Already have the Re:Zero LE pre-ordered and paid for. I won't buy Maid Dragon on physical if I can buy the updated blu-ray version digitally. I really don't want to support that dub.

Don't know if there's even going to be one, but I'll be getting Kino's Journey 2017 if it comes out.

Either that or I'll pick up the Japanese LEs some time down the line. Part 3 is coming out late April.
