Generally have to agree with this - in terms of pure talent and ability to sing in classical terms, Christina was always the more talented of the two. Britney just had better songwriters, a better PR team, and got over because her slutty teenager act was more appealing than Christina's slutty teenager act (and Christina's later slutty dirty girl act). The two of them were basically the 2000s version of the Madonna/Cyndi Lauper rivalry of the 1980s - one of the two was far more talented musically, but the other was far better at marketing herself, thus cementing her place as an "icon" of the era while the other essentially became something of a footnote.
