2 isn't as good. Limited continues, your dude is larger and the screen real estate is smaller so everything feels more cramped. It's interesting how there is a boss encounter every 10 stages and there are a lot more bubbles filled with different things than just lighting though. I honestly never got as far as a result of the limited lives. >_>
