I'm not going to say I want every game I play to be super hard, but one of the things I really like about video games is the feeling of accomplishment for overcoming a challenge. So, if the game isn't actually hard, it should at least pretend to be. The last kirby game I played (return to dreamland) I felt did this decently with its boss fights. Bosses were predictable sure, but they were big, had a lot of health, and just generally threw a lot of stuff / themselves all over the screen so you could run around frantically trying to dodge things while hitting the boss. This video is like.... seeing behind the curtain? The bosses may have looked scary but it's pretty clear that they aren't at all. In a way, it almost feels insulting, since the game has essentially shown that I have no agency at all.
