He essentially wants it the same bill as the 2013 Manchin/Toomey bill but is much more optimistic about it passing this time if it has Trump's support. He is definitely one of the most conservative Democrats on gun control, although there are a couple of others that aren't for sure guarantees either. So maybe he will have almost all of the Democratic votes on this depending on what the final bill looks like.
