Lukas is actually a pretty solid physical wall, QR and Ignis can mess a lot of things up. He's almost like an armor that gets two movement without Armor March.

Though if you got him in lieu of an Easter unit or something, I understand your disappointment.

4*s are great for pumping up your feather count if you don't want them. It's the unwanted 3*s that truly suck.

And yeah Lukas is actually an extremely good unit if you have to resources to invest in him. His statline is perfect.

Lukas is really good even without much investment. Just give him QR and Ignis. He has a perfectly optimized statline. I use Fortress Def, and while less than ideal, doesn't really hurt much

Rival Domains is cavalry this week! Should be just about the easiest I imagine, they didn't pull any dick moves like throwing trenches in or anything. The map kinda begs for a flier or two to snipe the right Camp.

yeah i never finished the previous infernal map. i only really tried it once, missed by 10 points with 18 armor kills. not a fan of that mode.

I like Rival Domains as an idea but I think the execution is poor. Too easy to just win by KOing a bunch of units with the bonus type and mostly ignore the fort capture gimmick

Of course normal maps where we field 20 units would be better either way but what can you do

I didn't bother with the first Infernal Rival Domains thinking it was too much of a hassle for only 10 dew, but when I realized it was going to be a weekly rotation and the dews start adding up, I decided to suck it up and beat the second Infernal after a few tries. I just surrender until I have a map where I could bait a couple units into attacking. Still an annoying map

Autobattle seems pretty effective in Rival Domains. I just tried doing that, and beat each of the new maps on the first try.

Thanks! He's +Atk -Spd. I had the option to use a +Spd -Res one as a frontline bruiser but this version better fits what I need for Arena.

Probably Lon'qu. I would like it to be Sheena as she's an essential part of my Arena team, but she's harder to get due to not being in the 3* pool. He's +7 while she's +6.

Side note, sniping for blues on the current Donnel banner saved me 20k feathers when I got him as 5*. I'm one of the few people that was hyped for the banner when I saw it!

I had been debating between keeping my BL build for Donnel or switching to a +Spd Slaying Lance build. I'm still kind of undecided, but after I was able to get a free 5* Effie (I think), I stuck DB3 on him and he's a monster. So glad he's a bonus in this TT as I've been able to crank his HM way up. I need to see how that one guy is soloing content with Donnel, as that is just amazing

Donnel is at a weird place for slaying lance. He's best suited with the brave lance imo.

I've sent a ton of him home too. Kinda plateaued on my +10 projects since there aren't any 3* available units I want to build.

The guy who solos content with Donnel uses a +Spd -Res Carrot Lance variety I believe. It's what's needed when you have to bait lots of enemies. For Arena though I think the Brave Lance variety works really well because he has enough attack to one-turn most enemies while also having enough bulk to tank when needed. And even with -Spd and Brave Lance he still has enough Spd not to get doubled sometimes. Overall I think he's a pretty underrated unit. I'm not a huge fan of the current tier lists in general though.

You take that back, Donnel's English VA is perfect. Really the only unit I would use this option for is Mia.

I never viewed Donnel as a kid who doesn't really know what he's doing. In Awakening he's inexperienced but thanks to the Aptitude skill he becomes a monster pretty quickly. To me Donnel's defining personality traits are being straightforward, hardworking, honest, and kindhearted.

(Also his Japanese voice sounds pretty obnoxious.)

I think his Japanese voice is cute, but his English voice is perfectly fine. There's faaaaar worse stuff out there. Nintendo is a real stickler about offering Japanese audio, so I don't see that happening ever

just did my first arena assault all advanced run in quite a while. not even top 10k with 4920. i forgot to swap my +1 Tharja with water blessing back into my first team instead of Arvis, which is probably what made the difference. oh well.

I got 5052 in arena assault this week which put me at rank 4023. I think it is about 50 points better than last week when I didn't have Fjorm's water blessings to help.

Female Grima looks much better than the male counterpart for sure. And Lyn/Sakura aren't bad pulls either. It's tempting, but I'm leaning towards next month's legendary banner to be a little more efficient since Ephraim will be there with a new legendary.
