I think my next project is going to be Eirika. After reading up on her new refinement possibility, I wanna slap Defense Tactic on her and shove her in a Nino/Eirika/NY Azura/Cordelia team with Hones and Fortifies everywhere.

Should I go with my +Atk/-HP or +Atk/-Res version? I was leaning toward -HP to leave the possibility of emergency Green Mage baiting, but it's not like I'll be using a Distant Counter on her, so after a bit of thought, I'm leaning the other way.

Isn't Cordelia the best defense tactic candidate? If she's running firesweep, def and res tactic on her should be a perfect fit. Speed tactic would be nice for Eirika when we get it.

Hp bane is better for Iceberg if you want to run that on her. A little better if she engages a dragon more than once too, but the difference between them are pretty marginal

Forblaze might make me want to invest in Lilina way down the line depending on how good it is, but it's going to take a lot for her to eclipse Sanaki. Roy will still be TA fodder since it takes way too much to make him good

Ephraim and Hector would rather stick to their defaults, i think. Linde and Julia are the only ones who would actually want the upgrade

I was really hoping Kagero would get an upgrade next since i now have three of her >_>

I doubt I will refine any of these weapons. Karel could be tempting if mine wasn't bad. I have enough to refine two prfs now, but nothing is screaming out to me. Soren, Sanaki, and Raven are the closest.

I would sign up for a Kagero upgrade. Really hoping Valter is the next GHB upgrade though.

Really excited Karel is getting a presumably prf weapon. Sucked that wo dao wasn't unique to begin with.

Wo Dao wasn't unique in its origin game either; heck you fight at least one enemy generic with one. I like that it's a solid inheritable option for certain builds, though I usually favour Slayer.

In general I think FEH errs on the side of having too many uninheritable weapons IMO; the Regal Blade is an egregious example for instance. It's a weapon you promptly hand to a sword-user of your choice in its home game, and it wouldn't be overpowered if it were usable by the general population (which is the reason that, say, Gradivus isn't inheritable; they want to control Distant Counter weapons, even when it makes no flavour sense like Dorcas's Tomahawk).

I've been looking forward to Lilina getting a prf tome. I haven't been super focused on getting any one character to +10, but she's my furthest along at +3. Since I'd been resisting just making her another Blade tome user, I'm hoping this'll make her a lot more usable now with more than just a silver tome.

but i could be wrong. i dunno. i didnt like that everyone that can use a sword in this game can use the wo dao, when it was limited to swordmasters and myrmidons originally

forblaze going to lilina is awesome though. i guess this quashes best grandfather athos for a while though. probably going to have an effect similar to the naga tomes where its effective against manaketes. or something.

Wow, really? Good lord is that character edgy.

Regardless, there are multiple Wo Daos in both games - in FE7, Karel and Karla each have one, as does a generic you fight. In FE6, Fir and Karel each have one, and you get another from a village (there might be enemies with them too, I don't remember).

True about it being locked to myrmidons (and Lyn who is basically one), but that's distinction FEH no longer makes, so a hard one to preserve. Additionally, when the Wo Dao showed up in FE10-12, it no longer had that restriction.

Beating Infernal Rival Domains with auto-battle is a lie. I just tried it once and was way off the target score

Athos could always get a variant of Forblaze. Kind of like how Brave Roy got Blazing Durandal when Eliwood had the normal version of it. Or how Lyon got a stronger(and more badass) version of Red Raventome.

You kind of have to brute force it with auto-battle. It can take a few tries until the stars finally align and the ai gets you a high enough score.

I think I beat Infernal first try with auto-battle but Lunatic took me like 3 tries. It just depends on if the god awful AI works for you or against you.

Just autoed infernal twice more and got it both times. Last time I didn't have enough armors for auto battle to be successful, but leading with ten 5* cavalry units probably does it

Dunno who the actual next Blazing Blade characters will be. I think the last release for them was the banner with Karel. Not including Dorcas since he was on a hodgepod banner. I'd like to see Sain in it, or Oswin for an actual non seasonal armor unit...

I could kinda see a married couple banner soon. Could get us like Pent and Louise. And maybe a new version of Bartre and Karla. That'd be neat and worth pulling for.

The most popular FE7 characters by CYL2 placement not in the game yet are Louise, Rath, Pent, Erk, Sain, and Athos in that order. I can see Pent and Louise on a banner together when FE7 is next featured.

After removing Elise's weapon, it still took me a few more tries before I finally cleared RD Infernal. The closest I ever got was 40 pts off, but using auto-battle still beats the frustration I had doing it manually

Managed to pull Grima this morning (+spd -res) which takes my tally to one of each colourless after about 80 orbs total. This feels like a good time to quit whilst I'm ahead.

finally got something i at least sort of wanted with all the free orbs today. Summer Elise, neutral. i guess i could technically go into the legendary banner again tomorrow after arena season ends with 9 orbs, but will probably just end it there. Gunnthra evades me again.

Got another Brave Lyn (+HP/-ATK, it's amazing I haven't gotten a good nature yet) with all the free orbs today combined with farming a bit more off the board. Argh. These hero banners are the worst.

Well I never have to worry about Swift Sparrows again I guess.

I'm wondering who you should actually use Life & Death over it on and I'm not sure. Like it's only useful for counter attacks on the enemy phase but it also makes you squishier on the enemy phase so it's like ???

Maybe the whole idea of using it to correct stat spreads on lacking offensive units isn't the wrong one after all if you have a bunch of Swift Sparrows

LnD is good on units with good enough bulk to still survive one hit. Usually, you pair it with desperation so you really only need to take one hit, and the extra speed granted on enemy phase is helpful to prevent a double.

I have a few units with LnD and always pair them with fortify cav/fliers to get that bulk back. I don't like it on infantry much for that reason. Also, really good on anything that runs firesweep.

L&D is good for someone like Lon'qu with high HP and low defensive stats. he can still take a hit, but probably wouldn't be able to take 2 either way.

or i guess someone who needs that extra 1 atk/spd and should never take a hit, like a firesweep user

If Swift Sparrow's not available then L&D is great on player-phase nukes since Death Blow/Darting Blow alone often miss some key benchmarks and Fury is -2/-2. Swift Sparrow does crowd it out some for sure, but it's locked to units who are 5*-only, so L&D is a budget variant at worst. It's also fine for "bait one attack then go Desperation" as noted, too. Overall I think I have more respect for a number of other A skills but it's still a solid option.

Used the new month's orbs on the Legendary banner, since it owed me after taking 80 orbs to get a -Atk Sakura. My pull was 1 Red and 2 Green/Blue apiece, which I absolutely don't want.

I spent 20k Feathers to give my Neutral Legendary Ike QR3. I then drew a -HP/+Atk Legendary Ike on the same day. I'm thinking of merging them together but I think Warding Breath might be more valuable than 20k Feathers (and I still have 9 spare Subaki).

Neutral is his best IV regardless, so if you're going to sack one, ditch your new version.

I'm saving my neutral to see if someone really needs WB down the line. I like my +Atk/-Spd Ike and I already invested in him to kit him out

I don't think Ike is slow enough to want speed bane. He doesn't really want to get doubled, and some investment there could really help his survivability

Ike is a sustain tank. His job is to use Quick Riposte to get a free Aether when attacked and then heal back the damage he took. Which means he needs to live through the encounter, which means -Def, -Res, and -HP are all pretty bad for him, because none of those stats are so high that you can afford to weaken one. You can kind of make -Res work if you replace Warding Breath with Steady Breath and have him never engage magic/dragonbreath users, but honestly he functions best as a mixed tank so it's nice to leave Warding Breath on him (plus it's the default so no SI required). -Atk is right out, for obvious reasons, especially since his self-healing is based on total damage he does. -Spd is also bad because it means he gets doubled more often, and his defensive stats aren't so high that he wants to.

In short, Ike's base stats are almost exactly where they need to be. One of the few units in the game where balanced stats are optimal. It's actually really nice that they gave everyone a Neutral version!

I had been thinking MRobin is a good candidate for neutral, but maybe -Spd wouldn't be so bad on him. 29 Spd would only allow him to double Faye, who no one uses, and Xander at base Spd, who isn't used much anymore. Can't think of anyone else that he wants to go up against that he can double. He's a very reliable unit that I use a ton of in TT and AA. Definitely want to +10 him someday

So I realized I pulled a few Sheenas from the Legendary banner. Most of the ones I have sitting in my barracks have bad IVs but one is +Res -Spd. Maybe I should give her some love.

I got mine up to +4 last week. I tend to end a lot of my projects there, since the next level just boosts the 2 weakest stats.

My defense team of Anna, BK, Vector, and Micaiah has been doing terribly. I got one defense on tier 20 and nothing again on tier 19. I decided to keep in Micaiah with all the horses running around, but I honestly don't know why the team is doing so poorly

I guess I'm hoping I can draw an Easter unit otherwise my team this time will be Zephiel/Narcian/Eirika/Fjorm. Probably have to put the Guidance seal on Narcian just to help Zephiel, at least he has Pivot.

I have Spoon Alfonse but I think my 5* Eirika I randomly drew might actually be the better unit for me to bring given I don't like horse emblem.
