You're right that S2 makes the disability part much better. I definitely like the explanation that they had new bodies created, and I think they were always very good with Togo in the wheelchair. I still hated S1's ending when I watched it though, and we had to live with it for three years before S2 was created.

For humanity being on their own: most of the main characters greatly disliked Shinju/Amnesty, so that part felt more like a triumph than a loss.

There are plenty of ways to pirate anime on phones/tablets... Heck, I torrented a couple episodes of anime on my phone this weekend. It's all on Horrible nowadays, so it couldn't be easier.

Also Roba, I didn't dislike the show or anything. There's lots of great stuff about it! Just...disappointed that it couldn't stick the landing.

Ep 1 of the Extra anime wasn't super exciting or anything, though potential changes seem cool.

Don't worry, I get what you mean. It didn't bother me but I could see people being disappointed with how they handled the endings.

As for me, I enjoyed Madoka but the whole time I was watching it I felt like I wanted a slightly different aesthetic, focus, and tone. It turned out that YYiaH was almost exactly the style I wanted! That personal appeal probably makes me a bit too forgiving with it but oh well.

Ugh. Has anyone here read the Yamada and the Seven Witches manga? It's kinda annoying how bad everything in the second half is. Right now I'm mostly annoyed by how the author can't use Nene's character at all. Everything involving her is fucking terrible. I dunno why the author made her so completely incompetent at everything and increased her screentime so much.

The second half has been terrible in a lot of ways. It's good when it's doing what it does best (Yamada helping people who are troubled by their powers) but everything else is awful. Even the first half wasn't that good when it was focusing on villains, so I dunno why the author decided to go all out with that in the second half. Like...what the hell are they even trying to accomplish? ugh.

Less Shiraishi is pretty lame too considering that she's basically the premise of the series...

Its a damn shame because it was one of the better series based on an LN Ive seen. In fairness I guess a lot of those are terrible and even the popular ones dont always come back to finish the anime (Haruhi probably the biggest example for one likely never finishing). As bad as Haganai could be I kinda want to see the anime finish it

I don't know about actors, but as far as musicians go this isn't something every pro is able to do. (Some can, and I wouldn't say it's rare either, but it's not something everyone can do while still having their tone sound okay)
