Oh wow I had a ton of drops on the 40AP stage. Like 4 rows of drops :o

I realized that I have 0 female lancers. All of them are 4*s or 5*s, and Jaguar Warrior hasn't been added in yet. I don't even have at least a 4* Lancer, period.

This is suffering.

Saber is my only class I think where I have more 4* or higher than 3*

OK so like, what's going on is that on certain days certain classes will be featured. On those days, we want to use servants of that class with the event CEs? Because the event CEs (at least the ones I have, from the gacha) say they increase the drop rate of the currency associated to the servant that is equipping it. And other than that, there is no special servants we should be using? We don't even need to use female servants?

No need to use female servants, any servant of the class will do. You can either bring the rate-up class with the gacha CE, or you can bring counters equipped with the Melty Chocolate (Mash CE) or a servant Valentine CE that gives rate up for that specific class.

For example: If you have Medusa's Valentines CE, it'll increase Rider coin drops regardless of which servant equips them.

I like how he gets 3 5* Servants and like 7 total Servants in 1 multi while I almost always get a single 3* Servant with it being my only Servant >_>

Is it best to MLB the Mash CE or use multiple ones? Running into team cost issues again on these 40AP stages....

Damn had two super close calls on the Saber stage. One Cu was literally my last remaining Servant because Nero Bride was spamming her NP charge and another friend Jeanne was my last. Emiya isnt much help sadly depending on how the stage plays out. I mean he should be because of all the Sabers, but sometimes he dies to the dragon even if its a Saber or Archer type. Should I try Atalante instead?

Atalante's only good if you have her +Quick skill at a high level with the interlude that makes it better done. Even then she's kinda weak right now. Also she's more squishy to the dragon cause she lacks Mind's Eye (True).

Hmm perhaps I should try Oda instead then? My other options are Robin Hood, David or Euryale and Euryale is probably the worst choice there. I wish Emiya had 3 turns of evasion instead of one

If your Robin Hood is high level and has Rank 5 NP he's probably the one I'd try honestly. If you can build up his NP in the first wave he should be able to do massive damage to it with his NP. Also his poison would lower the dragon's attack which every bit helps.

Not sure why you're doing the Saber stage right now though you should be doing the Assassin one.

I guess Ill switch to that one, but Im probably not as confident with my team choices for that enemy group.

None of these are too hard as long as you have one generically good servant and one good one that counters the class. Did Assassin easily (though it takes a lot longer) with Medea + Altera + Guest. Did Rider easily with Kojirou + Altera + Guest. Just be sure you bring a guest of the class with the +5 to that class's coin CE otherwise there's no point.

Mata Hari is kinda growing on me I'm enjoying tagging her in late and hitting her defense debuffs before throwing a bunch of NPs out. Maybe I'll give her grails at some point to be the master of the 1* Assassin. Then again I'm not even sure she really needs levels anyway.

Who knew Mata Hari would be the fifth Servant I got any of her skills to level 10 on. Well being cheap helps. It's not like I expect to run out of crystallized lore any time soon.

I didnt take full advantage of Assasin day, but I dont mind. Jack is fucking awful to face and her NP even one-shots my female Casters. I know she does boosted damage against girls, but still Im not about to use my low level/ascension Anderson, Meph and Shakespeare >__>

Lancer time is super easy for me

Orion showed up as the only non-Lancer and nearly killed me. She one-shot Scat...gotta love how much damage enemy NPs do even to Servants theyre weak against

This even is way more chill than I expected it to be. All the different types of rewards made me think it was going to be painfully grindy, but it feels pretty easy to grab all the chocolates during each bonus time. So after a full rotation it'll just be breezy choco grinding till the event is done - nice change of pace from Saber Wars!

It's pretty easy to just load up one servant (or two if needed) that beats whatever class is rate up, and then equip the 5* and 4* CEs on four of the rate up class. Then bring a support that's using the 5* CE.

like now, I have Nero Bride and 4 lancers in my party, and I bring along a support scathach to further boost coin drops.

Here is how I understand how the event works

Throughout the event, certain classes will become featured. The gacha CEs increase medal gain for the class of the servant is is equipped to. So let's say right now is Archer featured. You want part of your team, namely the back row, to be filled with Archers with the best gacha CEs you got.

Eventually, you can get enough medals to buy special CEs that "come from" female servants you own. These CEs always increase medal gain for that class. So let's say your main for is Hercules - [Servant who is strong against current featured class ] - Support , you would want to equip them with these special gift CEs when the right time rolls around.

And THEN, there's the Mash CEs you can buy for chocolate. Those increase all medal gains by 2, no matter who has it or what time it is. So these are actually the best ones to equip to your front line.

All of this is in service of getting eventually turning medals into chocolate to buy items from the event store.

So here's my question: If I have one 4* gacha CE and a few of the 3* one, do I really need to buy that many Mash CEs? It seems like I could get away with just two, if that because I have a bunch of female servants so I could just get their CEs and equip them when needed.

The Mash CE helps if you get enemies that don't fit the rate up, which does happen sometimes. I got Euryale twice during the Lancer rate up, so she obviously dropped Archer coins.

The 40 AP bosses also sometimes drop coins that can be traded in for any class coin (or Jeanne's CE) in addition to their class coin. Mash's CE boosts those as well.

Now that i have all the Mash CEs i guess the Lore is my next goal

XD my Benkei just ate 3 NPs on the Archer stage and lived. Running Cu, Proto Cu, Leonidas, Benkei, Emiya and Friend Gilgamesh. Got the Archer Waifu chocolates already and the Lore.
Just gonna keep turning Archer Coins into chocolate since I dont need them now.

My Assassin team got destroyed. Guess I shouldve sacrificed the extra boost and brought a good friend Assassin instead. I swapped in Herc because Stheno is useless and my Henry/Hyde is too low a level

If I have all the CEs I could need for the event, why would I buy the special servant ones? Just for fun/to see the scene?

Looks like you get more coins for the Cavalry Classes than the Knight ones so it's better to grind while those are on rate up.

Which AP stage is the that?

Knights = Saber/Archer/Lancer. Cavalry is the other four. Knights have less drops because there's only one enemy (the dragon) in the second stage of the fight.
