lone berserker was honestly pretty easy.
triple lancers - sabers can kill it
sole hercules - anyone can kill it
400k Lancer + 1 million Altera - okay that was hard.

i had Mash in my starting team, Archer coming in for support with an NP boost. don't have Tesla at a high enough level yet, otherwise he'd have been great there.

still managed to do it without any command seals used, so i'm set for tomorrow just in case.

Fuck Altera had 186k HP left when I died. Gonna have to grind a lot and level up Saber Alter and maybe Altera some more.

Dammit this time she was down to 60k and her NP killed everybody. I tried to get her and the dragon to both use their NP on my first wave, but uh that failed even though Mordred survived with Guts because the dragon still had more attacks. This stage sucks

The only general recommendation I have is that trying to kill the first wave of lancers as slowly as possible with liberal use of arts and inefficient chains is to your advantage. They don't do great damage and having as many NPs as possible up for Altera going in is nice.

What mystic code are you using? The one with stun (Combat Suit?) can help with delaying NPs

I caved and brought in Waver.

Made the fight fairly easy cos Nero was tossing out 300% NP.

I switched to the suit now with stun. Havent tried the stage again yet, but the lack of cost to use more event CEs is definitely hurting and Lily is just flat out terrible for this event. She doesnt do anything worthwhile. If I had pulled my own Okita I wouldnt be having any trouble since shes easily the best Servant for this.

Lily is good if you level her. Very solid DPS with her boost.

My Lily is level 70. She isnt getting a Bloom from me though (I can only use literally 2 CEs with my team so MLB Bloom is on Artoria and MLB SoA is on Mordred). Lily has done literally nothing this whole event for me.

Ah yeah, well that'll do it. Ten below + no bloom is going to make her use drop off significantly

I'm running L90 Altera (MLB Bloom) + L80 Lily (Bloom) + Guest MHX (MLB Bloom/SoA) + L60 Chevalier (MLB SoA) + 2 mooks, with 1 SoA between the two and only hiccup was losing to Altera once. Chevalier is pretty good with the tag in special with her taunt + evade but otherwise contributes nothing. Lily is generally solid damage though.

There's really no use for Lily if you have two of any of the boosted 5*s or Nero/Alter because they all will do much more damage than Lily at max level

He has Mordred and Altria so Lily's best place is in the back three giving him 50% more Altrium

That's true I glossed over Mordred-- probably because I'm not sure how one has so much trouble with two 5* Sabers.

Yeah and the downside to this Altera fight is when my front line gets destroyed I am basically screwed. My Saber Alter is at 3rd Ascension, but doesnt hit as hard without a CE, my Altera is like lv63 or something and so far has just died fairly quickly due to being focused on and Lily....Lily cant survive for anything and does pitiful damage.

Im wondering if I should try Lily in the front on the Altera fight so I have something worthwhile in the back, but Im not sure Lily/Mordred/Friend MHX is strong enough for the first wave + Herc fight.

If you use the battlesuit with Gandr you can always tag out one of your 5*s when AoE NPs are imminent to protect them from it.

Swordz is probably having the same issue I had - we both have enough 5*s that our cost cripples our ability to run as many of the events CEs as these last quests probably expect. (We can both only run a MLB of Bloom and Star, no stacking.)

I fixed the issue by grabbing a friend with a MLB Star on support and it made a world of difference. Went from dying with Altera at 600k to winning with only one Servant down.

Maybe I should try a MHX with a MLB Star then. Problem is 0 of my friends are using that combo and its worthless if they arent friends since that means no NP

If you're running multiple 5*s you can probably get away with Lily with MLB Star if she's maxed level. Same Altrium bonus so no big deal.

Mine has that so you know, if you wanna wager 10 AP that's an option.

The other issue is ALL of my Saberface are AoE NPs. If only I had pulled Okita I could stomp Altera like nothing since Okita does a ton of damage, charges her NP quickly and makes lots of stars so the others can Crit more often

AoE NPs really should do enough to handle her if you can charge them all. My Altera was doing like 200k with her Photon Ray with all buffs up-- smash with 2 or 3 damage numbers roughly on par with that and that's half the hp. Doing half her HP with normal attacks shouldn't be unreasonable.

I think I can cut 600-700k off her with NPs, but then everybody just starts to die because Altera does a lot of damage even with regular attacks. Ill havs to try it some more today when I can

Keep in mind that if you know roughly the amount you're going to do with your NPs keeping the dragon alive as long as possible is better.

Like just because you have 3 NPs up doesn't mean you should blow em right away unless your NP users are close to death. Whittle Altera down as much as you can before firing em off because the dragon's actions are much less dangerous than hers.

I think I could have maybe won the last time if killed the dragon first before it NPd, but maybe not because my backline just tickles Altera. Im going to try in like 3~ hours when I can sit down and play. Im almost completely done farming the shop (aside from pieces because who cares and the hero circle thing because I have like 200+ of it)

Whats the best thing to do when I reach the dragon? MHX doesnt take reduced damage from it so if RNG screws me she could die on the first turn or at least come close to death afterward. If I swap her out my options sorta suck too though.

Got Lancer Alter to 619k Hp my first try. Hard really bad cards so I couldnt build much NP at all. Only got off one with Artoria and Saber Alter. If I had more arts cards show up I think I couldve won that. It seems way easier than the Altera stage even though Lancer Alter has 3,333,333 HP >_>

Beat LAlter on my first try woo. Had Siegfried and Altera alive at the end. Swapped Altera out during her second NP so she wouldn't die. MHX didn't do much though thanks to no damage resistance. Didn't even get an NP off.

Can always use Okita friend for it if necessary...

Yeah beat her in one try. Only Altera and D'Eon remained at the end but it wasn't very close. Probably could've done an extra million past her death if I needed to since kinda had a lot of HP left and she'd just used her NP (only does like 7k to Sabers it seems).

Holy shit I beat the Altera stage with only Lily left standing and she wouldve died in 1 turn had she not killed Altera. Now to figure out how the hell Im gonna beat Lancer Alter

After a couple tries with no luck and taking tons of Crits from Lancer Alter I said fuck it and beat her after burning 1 Quartz. Officially done with the event and got my Quartz back from the login so it was worth it to me.

Brynhildr pops up after reset tomorrow. Given NA's penchant for starting holiday events before the actual holiday, we could see Valentine's hit on the 25th.
