I mean Welcome to a glorious journey of hasty ratings, poorly conceived write-ups and general half-assery. We will being a sojourn of disappointing proportion as we explore the bland countryside of Board 8's tastes, inspecting the mediocre wildlife curated by you, the users. I was thinking that it should get my hyped, yeah, or it should add a sense of tension, or inspire me to fight and defend what's important, or just be a fun song to battle to. If I can picture myself fighting to the song, or if I'd want to, that's a good thing. Usually I'll point out if it doesn't sound right to battle for me. In one of my Persona writeups I lamented that Mass Destruction wasn't nommed. It's goofy as hell but has charm.

I like how Snake and I have the complete opposite tastes in predictions =P. Should make for an interesting point spread. EDIT: Nine of my top twenty are in his bottom twenty; four of his top twenty are in my bottom twenty (and about six or seven more in his top thirty are there, too). We have twelve predictions within five of each other, with nothing overlapping. Three shared top twenty, four shared bottom twenty. While I also tend to very much dislike the songs he nominates, I enjoy seeing what he likes and hearing why he likes them, and sometimes find a good surprise or two (I'm positive he got in the top ten of one of my rankings once while all four of his other noms were in the bottom ten to twenty). I don't understand the appeal of Twilit Battle. I get the appeal of Twilight but the battle theme is too much. I was actually confused when I first opened Twilight Battle because I thought it was supposed to be Twilight until repressed memories burst forth.
