He's the founder of Resonate Church known for his large social media following and married Kristi Monroy at Luarel Hall.. He quoted the Book of Isaiah: "Behold i am doing a new thing, now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?. I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert" He proposed to Kristi on November 8th, meaning that their marriage proved to be a q uick turnaround and in a lengthy post detailing his relationship with her and how they met at a Crossfit gym in September 2016... She also went to his church and gradually worked his way up the courage to talk with her and then dated. But the relationship was married by the tragic November 2015 murder of his first wife, Amanda..the 28 yo was alone in their home when 3 men entered the "unlocked front door". She was 12 weeks pregnant when she was shot in the head as she tried to defend herself and her 1 y/o son, Weston on November 10, 2015.. 21 y/o Jalen Watson, 18 y/o Larry Taylor and 24 y/o Diano Gordon were charged with capital murder who entered the house and tried to rob her out of her bank account with debit cards. Davey wrote in this journal "You see, several months after Amanda passed i wrote something in my prayer journal. Lord, if you ever bring me another wife here's what i ask for, that she loves you more than she loves me, that she loves me, that she loves Weston, and that she loves Amanda. I knew that was going to be crucial because much of my life to come i'll be sharing Amanda's story and our journey through trial and tragedy" He made a pledge not to pursue anyone for a YEAR after Amanda's death..and as soon as that date elapsed, he met Kristi. But the relationship and marriage with his new wife has raised eyebrows as people were surprised at how "fast" the pastor moved on with a new woman so soon after he pledged not to date or re-marry until a year later. People were wondering if the pastor had moved on too fast or even worse, had his eye on a woman already!!.... Do you think this moved too fast? same thing happened to another guy. there was a famous case around like 2010 or something where these guys did a home invasion where a man lived with his wife and 2 or 3 daughters. they tied up the husband and ended up raping and killing all the females in the family. He ended up remarrying and having new kids. it's kinda fucked up but....I mean.... should he be cursed for the rest of his life cause of what others did?

I think it took him longer than that to get his life back together.
