Based on that I decided to intentionally focus all of my pulls on Justice (~850 Luck, Lv9 Justice + 1 booster) with expectations that I would just pull everyone else on the way to Vale and KOS-MOS. It seemed to paid off and I got Vale without much difficulty. However, I'm not really getting more Dark blades than other types so I don't really know if the Idea focus thing is really helping or not. Dark blades were tied for third most common blade type among the common blades I pulled.

I don't want to tune it out. Like yeah hearing Ursula's line a thousand times gets grating but I wouldn't sacrifice all the other lines that give the game life.

I feel like they may have gone overboard with the giant spiders.

They seemed much more like "oh shit" moments in the first game but here they're in almost every single area somewhere and they've lost their impact because of it.

That said I did still get surprised by the unique giant spider in the Spirit Crucible. I was fighting one giant spider, killed it, saw my party members were still attacking something, turned around and surprise there's an even bigger giant spider. Though it wasn't exactly an oh shit moment since I was still 26 levels higher than it but hey. >_>

That fight (and the whole area, really) were pretty annoying due to the limit to level 1 specials. It didn't make the fight hard, but it still took forever.

Well, now I'm level 70 and can start farming Legendary Cores. I'm still in Chapter 6. The rest of the story won't be a challenge anymore but oh well XD

No that's just how it goes. The more you have, the harder the remaining ones get to pull. The last one ends up being damn near impossible.

It slows down for everyone. My opinion is that it's simply because the pool of Rares gets smaller. As if each Rare has their own odds to get pulled, regardless of the other Rares. But some people think there's another modifier that lowers your odds as you get more Rares.

I was seeing that people were being down on Chapters 7 and 8, but I've really enjoyed them. Granted that may not have been the case as much if I wasn't so overleveled and didn't have to worry about drawing aggro from every single monster, but I liked the locations and thought the story segments were pretty good.

4 was a real low point for me and 7 has had the highest highs but some real lows. I love the game but its got some baggage

I went into 4 with low expectations and I loved it. 7 was great too but I can understand some frustrations from a gameplay perspective.

Currently on 8. Im a little disappointed about a location but otherwise no complaints.
