...while America keeps insisting that "military options are the table," it honestly looks like a case of the boy who cried wolf on that one right now. Kim was 100% right that nukes are all that's keeping him from being invaded. It totally is keeping him from being invaded. Honestly, it's laughable at this point to threaten him. He doesn't give a shit and he knows nothing will happen unless he initiates it. Everyone's too scared to risk anything, even though the DPRK will definitely lose. There's no coincidence that them and Iran are the only countries exempt from invasion, and it's because it'd be a proper fight with tons of civilian casualties.

Right now, America is coming across like one of those parents that half-heartedly says "no... don't..." when their kids are being douches but doesn't actively engage them to stop whatever it is they're doing wrong. It's time to accept North Korea as a nuclear power or stop them before they're capable of doing more harm. The decades of appeasement has led to arguably the best cyber-attackers in the world with an impending arsenal of nuclear ICBMs... lol Neville Chamberlain.

The north korea problem isn't gonna go away. The only way it would go away is if we give them South Korea or invade. History has shown what ignoring a problem does. It just gets worse

Actually no, what's keeping NK from being invaded is that nobody cares enough to do it and, more importantly, they have alliances with Russia and China.

Speculation? Or do you have evidence that the CPC has deliberately been engaging in secret activities? Keep in mind that the CPC has publicly spoke out against NK's nuclear ambitions.

They had decades of not being a nuclear power and weren't invaded. I think it's a bit more complicated than that.

We weren't worried about potential nukes until a few years ago. We were more worried about their conventional artillery all pointed right at South Korea with the capability of killing millions in a short amount of time.

Russia wont bother, and Chinas economy would collapse without American trade. Theres no incentive for either of them to declare war without them actually being attacked.
