If he makes Lootboxes and Gachas count as gambling like they should and somehow manages to break DLC/Micro bullshit, then it starts becoming a possibility. And that first bit is actually attainable. Concur that 2017 is the best gaming year of all time. Multiple all-time bests, an absolute sea of top tier titles and enough quality and quantity-wise that I'll probably spend most of 2018 playing the great stuff I didn't even have time for.

When you remove Mario and Zelda from 2017, you know, the 2 things people go crazy for, what makes 2017 so great exactly Cuphead Divinity: Original Sin II Horizon Zero Dawn Nier: Automata Nioh Persona 5 Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Those with Zelda and Mario make a pretty damn good top 10. Though for me when it comes down to it, it's basically Banjo-Kazooie, Half-Life and Ocarina of Time vs Breath of the Wild, Persona 5 and Super Mario Odyssey.
