very slim margin between Zidane and Celes for 5th though so she could theoretically still pass him up before the end of the contest even though we're pretty deep into this one

vincent aint no Red Mage in terms of backstory, that's for sure. one could say Red Mage, the OG of final fantasy, inspired Vincent Valentine's design.

Also that stat about the new era just proves that many characters are absurdly consistent at making it this far.

I feel like Yuffie really doesn't though. She just does well every year randomly.

I think Yuffie is a lot of peoples secondaries or tertiary characters so it doesnt surprise me so much that she gets a ton of casual support

Same with Rikku really, both very similar trickster archetypes and almost identical personality and design wise
