Ramza's tenure in this contest has been tumultuous, to say the least. He has four top 25 finishes, but he's never been able to crack the top ten. He had a string of rough finishes before the last couple years, but maybe he'll soon emerge as the true hero of the story after being lost to history for so long. With this performance, Ramza increases from 42.97% to 44.77%, passing Eiko, Garland, Basch, Fang, and Mog for 59th place.

Ramza was bottom ten in the New Era STATS before last year, but these last two years have helped him make a big leap up. He moves from 39.12% to 45.30%, gaining 13 spots to also land at 59th place. In the Old Era, Ramza was at 44.50%, placing him at 51st place between Rufus and Fran.

Also, the earliest FFT has ever been completely eliminated was 41/70 in CVII, so this is still a decent step above that, at least!

I feel like the only FFT character that actually has a chance to win is Delita upon thinking about it. Only other guy who saves FFT likes him and unlike Wiegraf hes probably likely to pick up some casual support

But oh well two more years until the return of the king etc

Well, it is still my sacred duty as FF2's #1 (and perhaps only) fan to shepherd Minwu and (if I can get him back in) Firion or (if I can finally get him in at all) Leonhart as long as I can which really prevents me from working on other projects until the later rounds, I am just saying.

The lack of Eddv-friendly options by that point means I usually just end up back on the Lightning train.

So I mean if you want to weaken lightning, help support Minwu!

On the one hand, it is a strong connection

On the other hand Aeris and Reina disagree there's much of a connection (the latter I do generally call Lenna but Reina was better)

I think those are the only translations I think were inferior to the original translations we got.

Oh also Valvalis becoming Barbariccia if we're really diving into the more minor characters.
