Huh, so even with Quick Hit's huge enhancement buffs, they get rid of the dual wield for that?

It seems like they try to change him from a chainer to more of a finisher if I'm understanding that correctly?

Nope. TDH=Less effort for max stats once you breach 300%(Which he does easily with Cloud and have 3 slots left) +Quick Trick thrice in succession instead of DW for twice by comparison.

With this you don't have that old "DH needs 30% more atk to beat DW", since TDH build beats DW with 7* Tidus as I understand it.

What kinds of missions are you two focusing on? I almost do 8 hour missions exclusively, and always 3 hour when they pop up unless it's right before bed. I've had a lot more success doing the shorter missions, as those tend to have better clear odds over the 12 hour missions. I only do 24 hour ones after I've gotten my 140 for the week, as those have terrible return on relics per hour.

Stat boosts got a 300% limit from equipment+materia+innate traits. Beyond that you need flat stats like Desch's ring to increase your stats.

Cloud's TMR True Double Hand (100% attack when wielding one weapon with one hand, or both if with say the Zodiac Spear) allows Tidus 7* this:

Enhanced Sun Crest 50%(If using sword)+30% atk+40% atk(7*)+ Brotherhood TMR equipped(7* speciality is 100% but no other weapon in the other hand)+Cloud's True Double Hand materia.

50+30+40+100+100=320%

Now you have 3 materia slots+2 accessory slots freed up for flat stats or more dodge+sturdier build.

I got a surprisingly low number of golds from my pulls as well. I think I only got two from the 25, and one of them was a 4* ticket.

On average, I only log on twice a day, so I typically go for the priority of: 12 > 8 > 24 (if <B) > 3 > 24 (if >B), taking the highest letter available if I can.

I don't keep enough of the consumables on hand to guarantee 100% on more than a handful of the missions, and I don't equip anything on any unit that doesn't have a current party slot, so I don't really maximize my bonus. I won't do an expedition if it's less than 60% with bonuses.

If I am super diligent about doing my Expeditions twice a day, I can get 120 fairly commonly, which was easier back when it was a 120 max weekly. I am not diligent enough to keep Expeditions from sitting around for a while though, so getting 140 hasn't been a possibility in quite some time. As a result, I haven't tried to get more than 105, but usually settle with 70 a week if I'm feeling less pumped about the weekly activities.

Id use it as an attack for extra damage with the Ashe army, but Id feel bad putting it up for people that are going against me. I dont need the AoE stop because all of my arena rounds end after one turn anyway.

Thanks to a well timed level up yesterday morning, Im done with the Mog event (tickets, Quartz, Cactuars, 10% moogle, and sacreds with overflow). Going to get a few of the 6* mats that are under 100, and a few other random things with the extras I get from the daily mission and the likely 10k from the midweek boss.

Yeah, I wouldnt bother with it then. If people do go against me, I want them to get in and out with a win as fast as I do against everyone else. Stalling someones arena streak gives you nothing, so I still dont get why so many people obsess over it, when they have no idea if theyve even accomplished anything due to the nature of the AI.
