Justin Snooty Snyder, a Firefighter has been denounced by his engine company over his rant against Kellog's over its response to racism accusations for its new Corn Pops picture on its boxes!!

He's a member of the Speedwell Engine and House Company in Pennsylvania who made his feelings known when Kellog's said they will change its box cover over happy Corn Pops having fun in a shopping mall..except for a lone brown Corn Pop working as a janitor and scrubbing the floor.

Saladin Ahmed brought that to their attention as he's a writer for MARVEL COMICS Black Bolt series and said this was teaching kids racism.

But Justin wasn't happy that Kellog's responded and said "Looks like Kellog's cucked out by apologizing to some "mudblood" over a f****** picture on the back of a Goddamn cereal box.

Mudblood is a derogatory term in the Harry Potter books for those not born as wizards and "cucking" is a popular term by the far right for betraying one's own ethnic interests.

Snyder continued with his rant and said "Someone complained about the janitor in the picture being a darker shade of Corn pop than the others. And Kellog's fell all over themselves to apologize instead of telling that camel jockey to pound sand, because the most egrogious of offenses today is even to be perceived as possibly being even remotely RACIST. They should have said 'We sincerely regret insinuating that a brown man could hold down a productive, honourable job and apologize for insulting any janitors. We should not apologize to ANYBODY for how we feel and we can't let these people tell us how to think and feel. I'll say whatever i want and if it offends you, Good. I love offending people"

The corn pop thing is weird because it seems so completely banal but at the same time it seems literally impossible that the artist was unaware of the potential implications. I've never even heard of brown corn pops.

If it's literally the only "brown" flake on the entire box, then yeah it should probably be changed. Either make it look like the others, or add more brown flakes to the rest of the box, either/or.

I don't think Kellogg's itself intended to be racist, but it's possible the artist was trying to be racist in subtle ways. Otherwise that's a pretty crazy coincidence that literally the only brown one is doing menial labor while all the lighter ones are having fun.

Have you ever seen a janitor? Sure, they might have some dirty hands or a smudge here and there, but the work doesnt turn their whole body a different color. Especially polishing floors. Ive done that myself, its pretty clean work.

It seems like it takes a racist to spot a racist in that case because anyone without their mind in the racial gutter just sees a regular product. People like myself, we dont look at products and people and think BLACKS, we see regular everyday people. I have no idea what pixel size they were working with when they printed the image. Nor have I been able to find him in the larger image when he isn't zoomed-in on. They might not have had a lot of room for additional details like smudges. What I do know is that the janitor can't be a different color corn pop since, as Lil69Leo pointed out, corn pops are only one color.
