I think Hollywood is a focal point at the moment because it's an industry at the forefront of our collective consciousness. You hear "Kevin Spacey accused of sexual assault" and you know who Kevin Spacey is and you care who he is. You hear "president of law firm accused of sexual assault" and it doesn't connect with people the way Hollywood does (or Fox News or MSNBC or whatever.) We're obsessed with celebrity, so every bit of celebrity news is gonna get pushed to the forefront, and it's a lot harder for celebs to duck allegations than it is your average person. --- Touch fuzzy. Someone came out with a story from Naughty Dog recently, but ND/Sony instantly shrugged it off with a pretty shitty statement. Then a day or so later a reporter told her own story of being harassed at ND but nothing else has come of either situation.
