I don't believe I have ever had African or Arabic food.

My favorite is middle eastern and Greek food (gyro, shawarma, falafel, domla [stuffed grape leaves], hummus, feta cheese, pita bread/chips, baklava, etc...) so I went with arabic, as I guess that's the closest option.
Stupid poll all the same, though.

Indian > Mexican > Greek > Polynesian > Asian > Italian

Obviously there are more ethnic foods than these but these are the ones I eat somewhat regularly and feel like ranking

What exactly is caucasian food. As an american a lot of "american" food is appropriated from other cultures.

Caucasian.... I like my ethnic foods (British, German) as gross as they look... and are when you know what they're made from :P I admittedly don't care for Mediterranean or French cuisine though. I'm all about the "meat and potatoes" type of stuff... And it's not like I haven't tried it, my cousin-in-law is a professionally trained chef who spent time "mastering his craft" in Italy after learning under some French chef here...

I like Asian food a lot too, so it's in second place, but couldn't eat it all the time. I like Chinese (both real and Americanized), Japanese (minus the candy), and Indian food. I'm not big on most Middle-Eastern dishes, never tried African food (to my knowledge), and I'm indifferent to Latin American food (I've tried some traditional things my friend from El Salvador made one time for some cultural presentation, and then American-style Mexican food, so it's hard to say).

Appropriation -- especially where food is concerned -- is a nonsensical concept. Cultures have been borrowing recipes from other cultures for most of recorded history.

More generally, "American" as a moniker works well when differentiating foreign cuisine made for American markets from the stuff made for home markets which -- despite often being staffed by immigrants or first-genners -- often doesn't resemble the fare from their homelands.
