When the movie released in foreign territories last week and reviews started trickling in with bad reviews, it was already a done deal that this movie being released today in theatres by Universal Pictures that it was a dud..but when american critics started reviewing it, it has officially been rated the WORST MOVIE of 2017 as no one expected any movie could top the Emoji Movie by Sony!!

The movie is called boring, torturous and outright bad and it's shocking because the director of the movie made such gems such as Tinker, Tailor, Soldier and Spy and Let The Right One In..

The movie is based off of a best seller as well and people were shocked that it was this bad given the promising trailer and starring a stellar cast....

Critics have already panned it and it appears Audiences has well giving it a D cinemascore where Emoji Movie even got a B- by audiences and made 204 MILLION worldwide!!

I have actually seen the trailers and it looks promising. The top search results were reviews bashing it but they were *all* from leftist sources, such as Vox, HuffPo, and Rolling Stone. Therefore the reviews probably shouldn't be taken seriously since any dislike should be universal.

Granted, it's just some serial killer flick so it's a matter of managing your expectations.

The Emoji movie a 1.5 hour ad for apps like Candy Crush and other random things like say Dropbox. That movie looks like it was made to be profitable from endorsements alone.

If you focused more on your mind than your face, you might realize what I was actually getting at. These are all sites known for nonsensical SJW beliefs like micro-aggressions and trigger warnings so when they -- and only they -- seem to dislike a film, it can be some trivial reason relating to those things. It's no different from when only rightwing sources complain about something. If something is actually bad, everybody complains.

Or, you know, you could read the reviews and see whether their complaints have any merit instead of just taking some numbers at face value.

The few trailers I saw for it looked dumb. Good to see my first impression wasn't wrong.

All this shows is that once you remove the flashy, colourful CGI, people can actually recognize a trash fire when they see it but are generally stupid and terrible when it comes to rating a movie objectively, while critics can at least see a trainwreck for what it is most of the time.
