I knew a person that lived to 103 personally. What about you? And i did read something recently that said that 120 seems to be the upper limit to how old a person can live since in the last like 50 years people just can't seem to get beyond that even with better health care than centuries ago.

The oldest person I've known is 93. He's one of the congregants at church and was one of the first soldiers off the boats during the D Day invasion. He seems to be in good health for someone his age.

My grandmother was 92 when dementia finally took her. She was actually pretty healthy most of her life, other then dementia and glaucoma (which made her legally blind) she didn't have any major health problems. Which I find funny because she was eating nothing but fried chicken and potatoes pretty much her entire life.

My grandfather is 91 and I can see him living for another 5 years at least. He just got a pace maker but that is literally the ONLY health problem he has had. He was shoveling my dad's driveway, mowing the lawn with a push mower, and climbing up on the roof up until he turned 90.

Depends on your definition. Are we talking people I know who kept getting older or just somebody I met while visiting a relative in a retirement home? For the latter, probably 105 or 106. The former, 95 or 96?

late 90s. one of which last I checked is still living. I didn't care for the woman as she really had a fucked up life story, literally abandoned her kids while they where children, straight up left them home alone one day and never came back. but decided to come back into their lives when they where grown and successful in life. my step great grandmother (want to add there was no man in the picture at this point. so literally a bunch of kids with no adults)

and my grandmother who amazingly lived to like 96 despite being a heavy drinker and smoker. whom I also didn't care for as she'd mail me and my brother checks for our birthdays but would always send him a check for 20 bucks then me a check for 20 bucks on mine but with a note saying to give 5 to my brother. my brother actually called her out on her bullshit at like 8 and told her if she couldn't be fair not to send any money at all. and she quit sending anything to us at all.
