Sami saved Kevin's life by pulling him out of a leap of death and then dragged Kevin to cover Shane while EMTs were trying to help him (which Shane did to Kevin after pushing him off the side of the cell too before deciding to do a leap of faith instead of pin him)

The look on Sami's face makes me think (hope) it'll be more complicated. His long time best friend was in mortal danger and he acted on instinct to save him. Yeah they've hit a rough patch recently but Kevin has consistently shown, even in this story line, that Sami is the only guy he really trusts (He went to him first to ref the match with AJ). Maybe this one act of kindness helps repair a relationship that Sami still cherishes. But will it be enough to get Kevin over the issues they've had?

Overall I thought that PPV was pretty garbage. I did appreciate Ziggler-- really feels like he actually slowed down his wrestling style this time, and no music is actually what he should have (though cut the record scratch from now on, just let him walk out). And the opening match was good, and Natalya/Charlotte was okay. But yeah just pretty bad otherwise.

I actually think a Russo swerve is okay very sparingly. This IS wrestling; as long as you can follow through with the shock value, it can be worth it.

I would hate it a lot less if Owens hadn't just powerbombed Zayn onto an apron, which if you'll recall is what killed Jericho, on Smackdown though.

That's what makes it great, though.

For as much of a total dick that Owens has been to Zayn, Zayn's still the better person and couldn't stand to see his former friend get destroyed. And if it leads to him realizing he kinda agrees with Owens, like scarlet suggests? It's a good idea.

Eh, I think you're overplaying this. Yeah, Owens just powerbombed him on the side of the ring, but not long before that he was asking him to be the special referee. There's been a cycle of... Owens wants help from Sami and then turns into a pissed douchebag when he doesn't get it. If you actually give them common ground on something, the hate isn't there.
