I mean obviously the next step for Roman is to destroy some random midcarder for a while, then have a feud built up with Strowman that leads to Reigns eliminating him at the Rumble to win, then defending his WM title shot by beating Strowman. Oh and if Joe comes back, have him put Reigns over too. Strowman and Joe haven't conclusively lost to him yet, that's probably why the fans aren't sold on Top Face Roman Reigns. Just have a few more guys job and everyone will come around.

I wasn't that surprised honestly. But I think what I need is a fun surprise. It's really all in the booking of the match itself. Just once, the guy who is hiding and lurking the whole time (Jericho last year was a great example) should win.

Is the WWE above saying to someone that Cena's schedule doesn't allow him to visit but Reigns can make it? When it's not true, I mean. I feel like the answer is probably yes but I'm not 100% sure

I'm sure there are kids that want to meet him anyway though, he's still the guy that gets pushed as top face, some kids will always like that guy

I know it was pages back now, but Roman has the absolute shittiest finishes.

This one with Cena and the series he had with AJ are all the same. He gets his ass kicked, then Superman Punches and Spears and it's over. It's horrible. I know it's supposed to make him seem like some sort of powerhouse but it doesn't, it just looks bad for everyone.

Roman's execution of everything is just too clean. Like I've never seen a spear that looks so much like "a move" rather than just savagely tackling a dude down-- and that's including Edge's.

I've only see her use it in the Mae Young Classic, but I think it definitely has the same problem of looking too "clean." She hits the person and then kinda bounces/spins away. That just screams "wrestling move" and not "savage" like a spear should. >_>

Another issue is that before Roman Reigns, John Cena was always having the same match where he came out of nowhere with the five moves of doom (which is still more than Roman's literal two moves he uses multiple times in matches).

They don't know how to book matches for their top guys, is the main issue. It's why Cena was booed savagely before Roman, except Roman is actually so much worse than Cena ever was with his bullshit finishes. Like, how many AA's did Roman kick out of? And avalanches, double AAs? Everything? And he still just beats Cena with a punch to the head and a tackle.

It's just that Roman is so limited in the ring that you can't build a match around him and make him look great. The dude needs more than a punch and a tackle. He has a convoluted basement dropkick and I think he does the Samoan Drop, but other than that I don't think I know a single other move Roman does.

It is, and she has a sort of "spotty" moveset overall (in that much of what she does is very clearly not an organic reaction), but I can at least buy hers because she's this tiny little human and can't just hit someone clean and take them to the ground. The little bounce/spin is at least some effort put into making it seem like something that could be done.

Roman's is completely antiseptic. But hey YMMV.

Honestly I feel like all 3 of the shield guys have this problem to some extent.

Ambrose is chock full of overly contrived manufactured spots. That stupid lunatic lariat, and dirty deeds never looks naturally executed.
Rollins has a buncha stupid stuff where it looks like he's dancing around the enemy and they're falling down with him-- he's just a bit too light on his feet with this stuff. Blockbuster he's too far over their head.
Slingblade has gotta be the worst move on the roster too-- though maybe I just hate it so much because Finn Balor is also using it.

I miss the damn curb stomp. Not sure I've really liked any Rollins matches since he ditched that.
